A brass framed carriage clock with cream enamel face, Roman numerals and subsidiary dial with Arabic numerals. Eight-day, three-train movement, striking on single gong, with alarm arm striking on gong. With quarter repeater. 12 x 8.5cm. Unfortunately we are not doing condition reports for this sale.
A fine 20th century repeater brass-cased Carriage Clock, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals and signed Matthew Norman (London), with subsidiary alarm dial below, the gilded numbered movement striking on a gong, together with key, with inscribed presentation plaque to front plinth base, 14cm high CONDITION REPORT: Although this has not been professionally tested we have wound it up and it seems to be working, it is in fairly good order overall with a few minor scratches to the edge of the top of the clock on the metalware. The clock is intact and appears to be in reasonable working order overall with no major problems. A 17TH CENTURY STYLE GILT METAL HORIZONTAL STRIKING AND REPEATING TABLE CLOCK, of square form, foliate engraved surround to the silvered 3''/8cm dial and central alarm dial with double fingered steel hand, the lower case with four shaped rectangular oval panels enclosing movement, foliate engraved and pierced supports and frames, the base of the case fitted with two bells on a hinged plate which opens to reveal inscription 'Pereulius Esass Aug', on four short turned feet, square 13.5cm x height 10cm

A Must De Cartier Colisee travel alarm clock, the gilt timepiece presented in a red and gilt box with guarantee (3)not working at time of condition report, probably needs a new battery, in the photo it is dirt at 12oclock, with international service document, generally good condition no obvious signs of significant damage or repair
Early 18th Century brass lantern timepiece of small proportions, George Wentworth, Oxon, the 4.25 break arch brass dial having a silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals framing inner quarter hour track and single hand, with Arabic alarm dial, the verge and crownwheel escapement striking on a bell surmount, the clock operating on two weighted pulleys, one with chain, one with rope, in a contemporary oak longcase with cavetto-moulded cornice over square hood door, long trunk door and plain base with plinth, 182cm high overall Condition: Dial in good condition but probably cleaned/restored, movement appears clean and sound, however we suspect conversion from verge to anchor and back to verge, case is missing finials to the tops of the four pillars, case is contemporary but maybe associated as clock may have stood simply upon a shelf, bell is likely to be of later date, case has replacement roof boards, losses to right corner of trunk, some vertical splits/patching beneath trunk door, sold with two period weights - We do not guarantee the movement or accuracy of clocks - Please see extra images and TELEPHONE department if you require further information
