A late 19th Century French parcel-silvered, gilt brass and Limoges enamel mounted carriage alarm clock, of large proportions, the fine quality eight day movement with grande sonnerie striking on two gongs, alarm and push repeat, the large-sized jewelled lever escapement with engine turned decoration, the backplate numbered '3057', the rectangular black ground enamel dial with white enamel numerals and gilt inscribed 'Tiffany & Co Paris', above subsidiary alarm dial with white Arabic numerals, framed by a finely painted scene of a bird flying above a castle and gentleman in 16th Century dress accompanied by a dog, the enamel side panels with medieval lady and gallant on horseback, he holding a horn, she with hawk and dog, the glazed case with reeded swing handle and corner columns, three position setting lever to base inscribed 'Hours & Quarters', 'Silent' and 'Quarters Only', height approx 25.5cm, with winding key (minor faults and striking mechanism not working at present).

General rubbing and some scratches to the case. Naming on the dial a little poor. The glass to the back panel has a small chip to the top right corner
