Based in an industrial bearing factory in Acton, the Vanwall team came to dominate F1 in the late 1950s, culminating in the team capturing the first ever World Championship for Constructors in 1958. All this came about because patriotic owner Tony Vandervell fell out with one of his customers-Enzo Ferrari-and vowed that his cars, resplendent in their British Racing Green, would eventually beat 'those bloody red machines'!
Marco Franceschetti: a blue Sampdoria No.4 jersey worn in the 1995 European Cup Winners' Cup semi-final tie v Arsenal, long-sleveed, the reverse lettered FRANCESCHETTI Arsenal defeated Sven-Goran Eriksson's Sampdoria on penalties after both legs had finished 3-2. This jersey was swapped with an Arsenal player.
The extremely scarce Sporting Lisbon v Arsenal newspaper programme for the 2nd Round Fairs Cup match 29th October 1969 This programme is recognised as being the rarest official programme for a competitive Arsenal match in the post-war era. Having won this tie 3-0 on aggregate Arsenal went all the way to win the Fairs Cup in season 1969-70 beating Anderlecht in the final.

A white Saudi Arabia No.16 international jersey from the final tie of the 1989 FIFA U-16 World Championship, short-sleeved This shirt that was swapped with the Scottish youth international Paul Dickov, later of Arsenal and Man City. The host nation Scotland won the tournament beating Saudi Arabia on a penalty shoot out following a 2-2 draw after extra time. Paul Dickov was one of three Arsenal youth players in the Scotland squad, the others being goalkeeper Jim Will and defender Scott Marshall. The Saudi No.16 was the defender Abdullah Al- Theneyan.
A fine and extensive collection of souvenirs from the British Empire Exhibition held at Wembley in 1924 and 1925, mostly metalware items in silver plate, brass, aluminium etc., including trays of various sizes, a Swan brand teapot, Lipton's souvenir tea caddies, fluted vases, mugs, mustard & salts, napkin rings, tea strainer, cutlery, hair tidy, match covers, ladies compact and vanity mirror, freestanding Wembley Lion emblems, miniature figures representing Empire countries, lapel button, brooch, tie pins, boxed set of opera glasses etc. The British Empire Exhibition was opened by King George V on 23rd April 1924. 56 of the 58 British colonies at the time participated in the event which cost £12million to stage and attracted 27 million visitors, by far the largest exhibition held anywhere in the world. The venue at Wembley in Middlesex was made famous by the building of the British Empire Exhibition Stadium, or Empire Stadium for short. This was immediately adopted by football, with the first F.A. Cup final being played there a year before the Exhibition opened. Wembley Stadium quickly established itself as the home of football.
