With hand written letter of provenance signed by the vendor, who worked for the printing firm McCorquodale & Co Ltd in Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside, from 1963 onwards, during which time he was involved in the production of the programmes for the 1966 World Cup that were required in the North West. The vendor and a work colleague and good friend successfully applied for tickets and attended the 7 group C matches plus semi final and final and acquired all the items present in the lot himself in person.
