HOUDINI HARRY: (1874-1926) Hungarian-American Magician & Escapologist. A good vintage signed postcard photograph of Houdini in a half length pose wearing a pinstripe suit jacket and bow tie. Signed ('Harry Houdini') in dark fountain pen ink to a clear area of the image, adding the sentiment 'Best wishes' and date, 24th April 1913, in his hand. About EX The present photograph was signed during Houdini's European tour of 1913, a significant year in both his personal and professional life. The magician's mother, Cecilia Weisz, to whom he was greatly devoted, died in 1913 whilst he was in Sweden. In the same year Houdini also introduced the elaborate Chinese Water Torture Cell escape to his repertoire, perhaps his most famous act. Houdini's grand illusions and daring, spectacular escape acts have made him one of the most famous magicians of all time.

A composition bodied clockwork Pinnochio figure CONDITION REPORTS Nothing is sold as working and although the mechanism does wind and wants to try and do something, it looks like it needs attention. Various wear to the paintwork throughout. Some cracks to the hat. Some small holes to the hat. Some crazing to the paintwork, especially to the bow tie. Hole to the nose. All over paintwork is rubbed and worn away in various places. Fingers are missing to one hand. Various general signs of wear and tear throughout.
RANGERS - EINTRACHT 1959 Official programmes for both legs of the European Cup tie between Rangers and Eintracht Frankfurt, Semi-Final, 13/4/60 in Frankfurt and 5/5/60. Rangers lost 6-1 away and 6-3 at home and Eintracht returned to Glasgow for the Final in which Real Madrid overwhelmed them 7-3 in an outstanding display of football. Eintracht issue is orange coloured ( no writing), Rangers issue has score noted on team page. Generally good
IPSWICH - STREET 1938 Southern and LMS Railway Companies handbill for through railway express excursion from Glastonbury to Ipswich for the FA Cup 1st Round tie , Ipswich v Street. The train left Glastonbury ( close to Street) at 6-20am and was due in Ipswich at 12-40pm. Slight tears to top edge , and tear along fold, slight ageing. Fair-generally good
