A 19thC Stoneware Character Flagon, in the form of Souter, Johnnie, modelled as having a round genial face, wearing stock tie, with night-cap spout and pouring handle on back of head, 10½in (27cm) high, some firing cracks and small chip to edge of spout. Note: Souter, Johnnie was one of Tam o' Shanter's closest friend from Robbie Burns' poem of the same name.
A small quantity of Chinese embroidered silk panels; together with an antique crewel work curtain; curtain tie-backs etc, contained within an old suitcase. Condition Report: Most oriental pieces are dirty, stained and faded or damaged in some way. The crewel work is perished along the edges and requires cleaning.
