The autograph album also features other miscellaneous signatures, including Teddy Gardner [boxer], Harry Secombe, Beverley Sisters, and othersProvenance: A loosely-inserted newspaper clipping records a letter from Mrs E. Swann of Rugby Street, Hartlepool, 'Memories. Just a few months before the Munich disaster Hartlepool United played Manchester United in a cup-tie. They beat Pools 4-3. I had my granddaughter staying with me at the time. She was only nine years old and I bought her an autograph book. Ken Johnson, one of Pool's players, took it to the Victoria Ground and got all the Hartlepool and Manchester Utd. players' autographs, even the trainer as well. It is one of her most treasured possessions.' This is the autograph book described, and the final leaf of the album is inscribed & signed by E. Swann

A pair of original portraits of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, and father, Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, inscribed 'Mummy' and 'Papa', produced by a very young Charles, c. 1953-55 [approximately six years of age], crayon & pencil, laid onto black paper with some tape-burn, 17.5cm by 22.5cm. Queen Elizabeth II is depicted in a striped dress with purple tiara and red earrings, carrying a handbag. Prince Philip is shown in a dinner suit with bow tie. An important and poignant pair of original drawings (2)Provenance: By descent of Henry Ramsay Maule (1915-1981), author and journalist who for 21 years was a British Correspondent for New York Daily News specialising in stories relating to the Royal Family. Maule collected and formed a personal archive during the 1950s to 1970s

Being The considerations of the Famous Guido Bonatus, 2 parts in 1, first edition, lacks engraved portrait frontispiece and folding table, blank leaf I4 present, tie slightly frayed, corner of D1 torn away but no loss of text, soiled, modern calf, [Wing L2208], 8vo, Printed for B. Harris, 1676.⁂ First appearance in English of any part of the influential 13th century Liber Astronomicus of Guido Bonatti (found in hell by Dante). The translation is probably by Lilly's pupil Henry Coley, under Lilly's supervision.

Diamond bright and lively. Scratches to metal surfaces. Metal unmarked, tested by the jewellery department and most likely to be 14K gold. Overall in good condition.
