An 18ct gold, platinum, opal and diamond cluster ring, hallmarked Birm. 1989, the elongated oval cabochon opal, 21.5 x 10mm., with vibrant green, orange, kingfisher blue and gold iridescence, within a scalloped millegrain border of eight cut diamonds, size N.* Condition: Some small scratches to the surface of the opal visible through a 10x lens. They are not visible to naked eye. No cracks or chips to the opal. The small diamonds all appear original and are well matched. The millegrain edge has slight wear The claws throughout are in good condition. The shank has not been sized, has clear hallmarks and is in good condition.
A mid-century 18ct gold, platinum, sapphire and diamond cluster ring, the diamond shaped cluster with a central diamond cut sapphire, within a scalloped border of eight cut diamonds, over tapered diamond set shoulders, size P.* Condition: Sapphire is not chipped, but it does have a tiny scratch to the table (visible in photo) and very, very slight wear to the table edges. Some wear to millegrain edge and claws but the stones are all securely set. Shank has not been sized and is in good condition.

(4)* Provenance (the ring and earrings): Boodle & Dunthorne, Regent Street, London, with accompanying insurance valuation documents dated 2001. The Catherine Best pendant with Certificate of Authenticity.
An 18ct white gold, platinum, emerald and diamond cluster ring, the 6.5 x 4.5mm. emerald, approx. 0.50ct, within a border of ten brilliant cut and two marquise cut diamonds, total approx. 0.6ct, over split shoulders, size M½.* Condition: One minute chip to edge of table on emerald. No other damage. The claws are in VG cdn and the stones are all secure. Shank has been sized but hallmark not affected. Diamonds are well matched, quite clean and bright - one of the marquise cut diamonds has two tiny carbon spots near one end.
