An 18ct gold three stone diamond ring, the central round brilliant cut stone in four claw setting, 4.4mm x 2.8mm, approximately 0.35ct, flanked by two smaller stones, 4mm x 2.4mm, approximately 0.21ct's each, in a platinum claw setting with pierced design shoulders, on a yellow metal band hallmarked 18ct, ring size J½, 3.5g all in. Upon initial inspection slight inclusions, dullness and surface scratches to all, requires a polish, shank good, clear marks.
A PLATINUM, RUBY AND DIAMOND CLUSTER RINGClaw set with the circular cut ruby in a surround of ten circular cut diamonds, detailed PLA, ring size OCondition Report: The ruby has one or two internal inclusions. There are two or three surface nicks where facet edges meet. The surrounding diamonds generally have a few internal inclusions. Some of the claws to the outer edge have been retipped in the past, currently securing the gemstones. The 'T' of 'PLAT' has been filled in as a result of ring sizing in the past. The ring would benefit from professional cleaning. Suggested age is somewhere between 1960 and 1990. Ruby diameter including claws 7.9mm, depth is approximatley 2.6mm. Fairly even in colour with a few inclusions. The diamonds also have a few inclusions. Gross weight of ring: 3.4gms
