Interior case bears London import marks dated 1909. Measures 4.7cm including bale.
This is an outstanding and rare unheated natural Sapphire & Diamond ring set in platinum with GIA and AIG paperwork. At the center of the ring shows an excellent oval modified mixed cut natural Sapphire with rich Cornflower Blue coloring, exact weight of 3.13 carats, and fine slightly included clarity. The piece comes with a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Sapphire report which confirms that this is a natural non-heat-treated (unheated) rare example, GIA# 1238790263. The ring shows a fine Art Deco Anitque style classic setting with tiered stepped halo bezel set with 42 round brilliant natural Diamonds with high clarity of VS2 to SI1 and color of D-F with a weight of 0.75 carats. The ring also comes with an AIG (American International Gemologists, a GIA certified gemologists, AIG# 000716320027) report which confirms the above information and gives a value of $33,205.00.
