An Early 20th Century Diamond Three Stone Ring, a central old mine cut diamond flanked by an old European cut diamond on each side, in white claw settings, to a forked shoulder plain polished shank, total estimated diamond weight 4.50 carat approximately, finger size L The ring is in good condition - although the shank is very thin. It bears no hallmark, nor stamps, but in our opinion it would test as platinum. The diamonds measure; 6.34mm x 6.21mm x 4.32mm = 1.19ct, 8.89mm x 7.92mm x 4.25mm = 2.09ct and 6.52mm x 6.49mm x 4.45mm = 1.31ct. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI2/I1/I2 (several nicks to the girdles). Gross weight 3.0 grams. CR made 15th April 2013
A Ruby and Diamond Three Stone Ring, the round mixed cut ruby flanked by a round brilliant cut diamond on each side, in white claw settings, to a yellow tapered shoulder plain polished shank, total estimated diamond weight 0.80 carat approximately, finger size L The ring is in good condition. It is stamped `PLAT` and `18CT` and in our opinion would test as a platinum setting on a gold shank. The ruby measures 7.56mm x 7.41mm x 4.52mm. It is a dark red colour. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour J/K/L, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 4.0 grams. CR made 8th May 2013 Very small nick to the girdle of the ruby. 160713

A Diamond Three Stone Ring, circa 1930, the graduated brilliant cut diamonds in white claw settings to pointed shoulders inset with eight-cut diamonds, on a plain polished shank, total estimated diamond weight 1.00 carat approximately, finger size P The ring is in fair condition. Some of the claw are very worn, and require immediate attention. Consequently, one of the outer stoens is very loose in the mount. There is a sizing mark visible to the inner shank. It is stamped, (semi-obliterated) `18CTPL..`, and in our opinion would test as gold and platinum. The diamonds measure 4.42mm x 4.46mm x 2.51mm = 0.30ct, 4.98mm x 5.03mm x 2.92mm = 0.44ct and 4.32mm x 4.32mm x 2.38mm = 0.27ct. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I/J, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 2.2 grams. CR made 29th May 2013
