Ring mit Orientperle und DiamantenAus dem Besitz der Fürstin Margarethe von Thurn und Taxis Deutschland, 1920er Jahre Gelbgold 585/- und Platin, getestet. 10 Diamanten in unterschiedlichen Altschliffformen, zus. ca. 2,50 ct. 1 natürliche Salzwasser-Perle von 11.250 ct. (45.00 grains), Maße: 11.20 - 11.75 mm x 11.90 mm, leicht barocke Form, white to slightly brownish grey. Ringschiene leicht verbogen. Ringgröße: 57. Fürstin Margarethe Klementine von Thurn und Taxis (1870-1955) war Mitglied des Hauses von Habsburg-Lothringen. Sie heiratete 1890 Fürst Albert von Thurn und Taxis (1867-1952). Das fürstliche Ehepaar stiftete erhebliche Geldsummen für kulturelle und soziale Projekte, gründete die fürstliche Notstandsküche, engagierte sich im Sozialbau sowie im städtischen Leben. Margarethe widmete sich künstlerischen oder sozialen Tätigkeiten sowie der Musik. Wie auf zahlreichen Fotografien zu sehen, liebte sie Schmuck über alles. In den Jahren vor dem ersten Weltkrieg stand das fürstliche Haus von Thurn und Taxis finanziell glänzend da. Dies ernöglichte dem Fürsten, seine Frau mit Schmuck generös zu verwöhnen. Ca. 19 facettierte royalblaue Saphire im Fancyschliff, zus. ca. 1,0 ct., feine Farbqualität. Ringgröße: 55. Ca. 4,3 g. Goldschmiedetechnische Ausführung: die Fasskanten wurden mit Millegriffe-Technik verziert. Eine ornamental durchbrochene Dolenwand verziert das rückseitige Ringtop, kleine Brillanten verschönern die seitlichen Ringschultern. Diamonds;- Central stone, nice and clean, good colour, on close inspection a couple of microscopic carbon dots, barely visible with a 20x loope. other diamonds eight cuts, appear clean and bright and a good match for colour.. Mount, very little wear, stamped 18ctplat. Could do with a proper ultrasonic clean and polish..
