AN 18CT AND PLATINUM THREE STONE DIAMOND RING set with estimated approx 0.70cts of old cut diamonds. Finger size J, weight 2.3gms Condition Report:I cannot give you a full diamond appraisal, i.e the 4 C?s as I am not qualified to do so. I can tell you what I see. Diamonds; All three have cullet facets, one of the side diamonds has a large surface reaching inclusion, it includes two star facets and partially onto the table facet, it is clear and polished over. Visible by eye if you know where to look, and can be felt with a finger nail. There is also a tiny chip to the girdle by the shoulder, not eye visible. Middle diamond has a chip where the claw from the stone next to it touches. 2nd side diamond has a tiny knife edge carbon inclusion, invisible from the top and can only be seen from the side, and it bounces around in reflection a bit. Overall diamonds a good colour and bright and sparkly. Mount; Stamped 18ctPlat, light general wear, all but one claw ok.

Finger size Q, weight 3gms Condition Report:Cushion cut approx dimensions 5.51 x 5.03 x 2.91mm. a slightly carbonated feather inclusion, very pale and not eye visible. The two 0.20cts have a small amount of clear feather type inclusions, overall bright and sparkly ring,. Mount and claws all ok, very slight tarnish .

Finger size Q, weight 2.5gms Condition Report:the central diamond is a nice colour, it does have a patch of clear feather inclusions with a tiny bit of carbon scattered throughout, the side diamonds also have clear feathers and a oner has alarge cullet facet and twinning scar to the surface. With inscription to the inner shank dated 1928, stamped 18ct and platinum. Mount and claws all good.

A sapphire full hoop ring by Cartier, channel set throughout with rectangular step-cut sapphires, white precious metal mounted, signed Cartier London, ring size I½Condition report: The sapphires have slightly variable tints, from mid to dark blue hues, and slightly variable shapes, some stones longer than others, each stone measuring approx. 2.2mm in width. Most contain natural inclusions, such as fractures, feathers and rutile 'silk' needles, and some stones have areas of whiteish colour zoning. The sapphires have surface wear, scuffs, chips and nicks throughout, commensurate for use. The mount has general surface wear, scuffs and nicks with slight thinning to the edges of the setting and is untested as white gold/platinum. The signature has a little wear but is clearly legible. Width of mount approx. 3.1mm, depth approx. 2mm. Gross weight approx. 2.9gm.

The ring mount has surface wear, scuffs, nicks and chips, commensurate for use, with darks solder joins/repairs at junctions within the gallery. The shank has been re-sized. Marks are clearly struck. Setting dimensions approx. 1.45cm length x 1.25cm width. Gross weight approx. 6.2gm.
