A 27mm silvered dial, with black Arabic numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial and blued spade hands, inset into a flared slimline case, with circular barley engine turned decoration to the bezel and back case, with a central circular cartouche hand engraved G.R.R.C 14.3.13. Import hallmark 18ct gold London 1912. Case no. 32124. Suspended on a two colour rose and white bar and trace link watch chain, with a bolt ring clasp and swivel clip to the ends. Marked 18. Tested as approximately 18ct gold and platinum. 43.80g, 10.00gProvenance: The residual contents of Bixley Manor by instruction of the executors of Sir Timothy Colman KG.Not running, does not wind or tick even when gently shaken.Dial showing deterioration/ tarnish.Scratches and marks consistent with its age.
