MONTEGRAPPA "LA TRAVIATA" FOUNTAIN PEN.Barrel in red celluloid and sterling silver.Limited edition of 1912.Bicolour 18 Kts gold nib.No box.Measures: 18,35 cm length, 14 mm diameter.Limited edition fountain pen inaugurating the "Emozioni in Musica" collection with a burin engraving of Violetta Valéry, a tribute to Giuseppe Verdi's opera, "La Traviata". The body of the pen is made of red celluloid with decoration in sterling silver engraving showing the protagonist of the story portrayed in the barrel. The silver contrasts with the reddish resin on the cap and the ring, emphasising the aesthetics of the whole. The cap is crowned by a rose in the jewellery.The "Emozioni in musica" collection pays homage to the world of opera, so each year they personify the joys and sorrows, characters and arias, scenery and costumes of the most famous operas by means of a feather. "La Traviata" is divided into three acts with music by Giuseppe Verdi. It is an intimate drama about the relationship between a boy from a good family who lives happily with a harlot until tuberculosis puts an end to the relationship.It is handmade in sterling silver and red celluloid.The two-tone nib in 18 carat gold, platinum-plated, with the characteristic two V's alluding to Violetta Valéry de Montegrappa. DELTA FOUNTAIN PEN "COSSACKS".Red, black and silver resin barrel.Limited edition (2004), series II of the "Indigenous People" collection.Platinum-plated 18 Kts gold nib.No box.Dimensions: 13.5 cm length, 16.5 mm diameter.Limited edition Delta Cossacks fountain pen made of solid hand-turned resin, belonging to the "Indigenous People" collection, alluding to tribal human groups. The cap is made of black resin with the clip decorated with a Cossack sabre or shashka and the silver cabochon with small perforations reminiscent of the well-known Cossack hat. The jewel is crowned with a stamp in relief representing a deer surrounded by a border with three words. The body is made of red resin with mother-of-pearl highlights and is decorated with a solid silver ring bearing the following inscription: 'KA3AKN', which means 'Cossack' as the pen pays homage to the indigenous Cossack people (currently the Cossacks of Russia and Ukraine).The nib is made of 18 kts gold with a platinum plating and is engraved with the representation of an ataman or Cossack chief and the name of the firm: "DELTA". The loading system is by cartridge. This model of pen was released in 2004 in a run of 1569 pieces.
