A synthetic spinel and diamond set daisy cluster ring, c.1915, a central replacement synthetic spinel surrounded by two rows of old Swiss cut and eight cut diamonds to a scalloped daisy cluster head. Scalloped gallery to a plain shank. Finger size M¾ CONDITION REPORT: The centre synthetic spinel in a more modern replacement, and is not quite the right shape for the setting. Slight wear to the back of the shank. The gallery, underside of the setting plate, under bezel and shank all test as 18ct gold. The top of the setting plate is faced with platinum.
A diamond set Edna May pendant, c.1915, a Swiss cut diamond, milligrain set with an open target style frame to an articulated blade edge bar drop, with a diamond set daisy cluster below CONDITION REPORT: The pendant tested as approximately 18ct gold faced with platinum. Bolt ring marked 15ct. No obvious damage.
An Art Deco sapphire, ruby and diamond swivel head eternity ring, a half hoop of calibré sapphires and calibré rubies, with swivel guards, grain set with graduated eight cut diamonds. Tested as platinum. Finger size Q½ CONDITION REPORT: Crown facet edge wear to the rubies and the sapphires. Chip to one corner of a ruby. Dirty. Historic repair to one hinge.
An aquamarine and diamond ring, c.1940, the emerald cut aquamarine, with an estimated weight of approximately 16.50ct, claw set at the corners to a pierced geometric collet. Open crescent shaped shoulders, grain set with old eight cut diamonds. Tested as platinum. Finger size I½-J CONDITION REPORT: The aquamarine has a little less colour than the image on our website or in the catalogue. Some small chis and brises to the crown facet edges.. Setting appears secure. One diamong at the top left hand corner of the shoulder (see catalogue image) is noticably darker in colour.
An Art Deco blue zircon ring with diamond set shoulders, a circular mixed cut blue zircon, claw set in a sea scroll collet, with a row of eight cut diamonds to each shoulder. A chevron of interlocking pairs of baguette cut diamonds to a marquise cut diamond. Marked platinum. Finger size L CONDITION REPORT: The ring is Art Deco, probably between 1935-1945. Facet edge wear to the crown facets of the zircon. The zircon is slightly lose in the setting. The claws are intact, although a little thin at the tips. Dirty - requires cleaning. Surface wear to the mount.
An Art Deco single stone diamond ring with diamond set shoulders, a rectangular cushion cut diamond, with an estimated weight of approximately 1.08ct, four claw set at the corners to a plain collet. Tapered shoulders, each rub set with a baguette cut diamond and a milligrain set crescent, to bifurcated shoulders. Tested as platinum. Diamond assessed as approximately. Colour: L/M Clarity: P1-P2 Finger size N CONDITION REPORT: A series of indented naturals and bearding all round the girdle. Some small concoidal fractures at the edges of the indented naturals; could look like chips (taken into account for clarity grading). Slightly thin at the back of the shank through wear. Very dirty. Setting appears secure.
