18ct yellow gold diamond 3 stone ring, total diamond weight circa 3.59ct, with single central 1.75ct transitional round brilliant cut diamond, flanked by 0.92ct transitional round brilliant cut diamond on each side, set in platinum head.London 1977. Insurance document states the average colour estimated as G/H Average clarity estimated as VS1, ring size O, ring weight 5.1 grams. Latest insurance valuation from March 2017 was for £19,200.We have shown this to one of our jewellery valuers who has made the following comments:There is cut marks (nibbles) to all 3 stones that can be seen when studying the diamonds round the girdle.The diamonds our valuer fairly described as ‘good but not excellent’, he did also comment that the report has perhaps been a little generous to the ring by the southern jewellers. Our jewellery would perhaps estimate the clarity as SI2 which he would describe as fair. The colour also as H/I so similar to what the report has suggested.In terms of the weight, without de-mounting the diamonds, it would be hard to confirm the exact weight as we cant clearly see the depth of the ring so can only advise that the estimation of the ring from the insurance valuation would be correct but we couldn’t confirm for sure whilst the stones are mounted.

Cultured pearl generally good pinky creamy lustre but with blemish on top. Slight variation in height.

The diamond is a lively bright stone, there is a small surface reaching inclusion near the table. The diamond does draw colour. The girdle is uneven and has a small indented natural. Weighs approximately 3.66 grams. No certificate or diamond report.

Fine 1930s diamond ring the central old cut diamond estimated to weigh approximately 2.16cts, in six claw setting flanked by four further old cut diamonds to the shoulders on platinum shank, estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.50cts, ring size O.The diamond measures approximately 8.10 x 7.80 x 5.00mm and calculated to weigh approximately 2.16cts, estimated colour K/L, estimated clarity VS1-VS2, the bruted girdle is unpolished/rough with minor chips in the cutting of the girdle. The diamonds to the shoulders are opaque and would benefit from being replaced. The shank is stamped 'Plat' and tests as platinum. Weighs approximately 4.06 grams

Diamond single stone ring with an old cut diamond estimated to weigh approximately 1.85cts in claw setting flanked by diamond set shoulders, on platinum shank, ring size N.The diamond is a very lively bright stone, there is a surface reaching inclusion and a chip to the girdle/pavilion facets. There are further inclusions within the stone. Estimated colour K/L. The diamond displays a strong fluorescence under a UV light. No hallmarks, probably circa 1930. The setting and shank are in good condition. Weighs approximately 4.2 grams.

Art Deco diamond, ruby and sapphire three row eternity ring with a platinum band set with calibre cut sapphires to one side and rubies to other, two hinged half bands each set with thirteen eight cut diamonds, can be worn on either side, ring size L½.Good condition commensurate with age. alignment of the bands are as they should be, the hinges work well. All stones appear to be original, minor chips and abrasions to the stones, commensurate with wear and age. Weighs approximately 6.1 grams.

The diamonds are lively bright stones of good colour and clarity, estimated colour H/I, estimated clarity SI2. No obvious inclusions or fissures, the two smallest stones at each end have small chips/indented naturals to the girdle. Setting and claws in good condition.

Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.55cts.Not hallmarked but presumed to be platinum/18ct white gold, the shank has sizing beads which makes the finger size difficult to measure, it does appear to approximately size N. Weighs approximately 3.3 grams.

The diamonds are all original to the ring, the colour and clarity of the diamonds is very good. The diameter of the cluster is approximately 9.5mm. Weighs approximately 2.4 grams.
