DIAMOND RING. An 18ct. gold & platinum pave set diamond ring. Size L/M. Setting size 1.1cm. NOTE: This ring is sold with a note from the vendor who was bequeathed this ring by Eva Hart, a survivor of the Titanic disaster. Eva was 7 years old & went into a lifeboat with her mother, her father remaining on board.
Impressive diamond and gold ring by David Webb, of crossover design, set with two pavé set diamond bombe plaques, with further brilliant cut diamonds to the gold openwork shoulders with feathered design, mounted in platinum and 18k gold, signed - 'Webb for David Webb'. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 11 carats. Provenance: Purchased from Christie's New York Sale of Magnificent Jewels Monday 14th and 15th April 2003. Lot 86.
