The round topped dial is silvered with bright silvered embossed patterns on a matt ground and has black arabic numerals. It is contained in a mahogany lancet shaped case with fan inlays above and below the dial and boxwood stringing around its front panels. The plinth base has wooden bun feet and the rear door has a metal sound grille. The clock stands 17in tall overall.
