An Aesthetic ebonised mantel clock, after a design by Lewis Day, with a pottery dial painted in blue and gilt scrollwork, with stylised Arabic numerals, striking the quarters, labelled 'Depose 45158' and a registration mark, 43cm high CONDITION REPORT: Finial re-glued to the top. Top with split and a number of holes to the top, moulding to edges with some expansion. Appears to be working. Fabric loss and worn through to the back door/wider with damage.
