Autograph: An autograph album - numbered 79 containing circa 50 signatures from actors, musicians, politicians and sports stars; collected in person by Laurie Butcher during 1985. These autographs are mostly single sided and written in ball point or felt tip pen. Signatures to include: TONI DALLI, CHARLES BRONSON, VIRGINIA MCKENNA, MARTINA NAVRATILOVA, LORETTA SWIT, DAVID HOCKNEY and BRIAN MARSHALL. (British, b.1937). 2 copies of the print 'Two Apples, One Lemon and Four Flowers', 1997, as published in The Independent newspaper on January 7th 1997, offset lithograph (the artist called it a `newsprint`), in colour, image size 33 x 53cm, 13 x 21in (2). Along with pages from the newspaper dated 7/1/97. * Although printed in the normal run of the newspaper, this image is a direct result of the production of the newspaper itself. The Independent explained: Hockney has provided us with four separate pieces of work, all in black and white. Each corresponds with one of the four colours of the printing process - cyan, magenta, black and yellow. The print itself only exists once the presses roll..
