He chose to use the clear lines of etching to reflect the simple, direct style of language used in these childhood stories and really explore the supernatural and psychological aspects of the tales.Condition report: The etching is a work on paper framed under glazing, not examined external to the frame. It has full margins and visible platemark. There is some minor cockling and one small isolated spot of foxing in the centre- to the left of Rapunzel's rump (please refer to photographs). There are some grey spots in the background which do not appear to be damaging the print. General wear and tear to the frame.

He chose to use the clear lines of etching to reflect the simple, direct style of language used in these childhood stories and explore the supernatural and psychological aspects of the tales.Condition report: Lot 26: The etching is a work on paper framed under glazing, not examined external to the frame. It has full margins and visible platemark. There are no visible rips, creases or folds to the paper and no obvious signs of deterioration. The frame is in good condition, minor general wear and tear. There is one dark spot to the upper-centre-left which could be part of the paper.
