Fast, attractive, manual six-speed Grand Tourer in a stylish Blue Swaters Metallic over gorgeous tan leather.Produced from 1992 until 2003, the Ferrari 456 and later 456 M are front-engined 'Grand Tourers' in true Ferrari tradition and were an overdue replacement for the outdated, front-engined 412 which had been the company's premium four-seat V12 car for many years. The name '456' refers to the fact that each cylinder displaces 456 cubic centimetres and this was the last Ferrari to use this naming convention. Despite its supercar performance, 436bhp, 0-60mph in 5.2 seconds, and a top speed of 188mph, the 456 has a relatively unstressed engine which has proven to be a very reliable unit. Its looks are smooth and understated, and distinctive external features include a small grille with fog lights on the outside, bonnet-mounted air scoops (removed on the 456M), and pop-up headlights, making this the last Ferrari to do so. The model was warmly received by press and enthusiasts alike, and although not produced in large numbers was always gently in demand by 'silver-haired' Ferrari owners before the 456M was eventually replaced in 2004 by the 612 Scaglietti.Finished in the rare colour combination of Blu Swaters Metallic with tan leather, this front-engine, V12 manual gearbox, Grand Tourer is a very useable example. Initially supplied to European specification, it was imported into the UK in 2017 with an odometer reading of just 95,874km (59,573 miles). In November 2021, it was subject to a comprehensive service at a cost of £8,567 with Ferrari specialists Stradale Italia, and this work included replacing the cambelts, auxiliary drive belt, air-conditioning belt, tensioners, engine oil and filter. It also included spark plugs, brake fluid, wiper blades, air flow meter, headlamp motor, an engine cooling system flush and antifreeze required as a reconditioned radiator had been fitted. The water pump was replaced at the same time together with a refurbished alternator, re-gassed air conditioning and screen washer system.  The 456 was the final Ferrari to offer classic ‘pop-up’ headlamps and overall the Pininfarina-styled coachwork seems to become more attractive as time moves on, subtle and stylish yet still with that timeless Ferrari sense of purpose. The 456 GT is a connoisseur's Ferrari, a gentleman’s express, especially with three pedals, and when the time comes to re-offer this European example, a global left-hand drive market awaits. SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: 456 GTYear: 1994Chassis Number: ZFFSD44B000099050Registration Number: L108 UHCTransmission: ManualEngine Number: 36290 Drive Side: Left-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 95872 KMMake: LHDInterior Colour: TanClick here for more details and images

Pretty, right-hand drive Dino from long-term ownership. The new Dino 246GT was an absolute delight from all angles, its beauty, handling, engine note, mid-engined layout, unusually good all-round visibility and comparative affordability made it absolutely irresistible. The voluptuous bodywork, which many people regard as the prettiest ever to grace a road-going Ferrari, was designed by Pininfarina and built by Scaglietti and covered a tubular chassis which carried wishbone independent suspension at each corner. The 190bhp engine, with four overhead camshafts, was mounted transversely behind the driver and in front of the rear axle. Power to the wheels was transmitted via drop gears to the transverse 5-speed gearbox, in unit with the differential and engine sump. With rack and pinion steering and a mid-engined configuration, it was a revelation in terms of road holding and stability, nothing had been made like this before and it left its larger V12-engined siblings in its wake. This was a very modern car and a real step in Ferrari history announcing a new age for Ferrari in concept and design. Sparkling acceleration and a top speed of 145mph combined with a comfortable interior and some usable boot space meant that it was a genuine 'Grand Touring' car.Finished in Nuovo Giallo Fly Yellow with a Nero interior, this particular Ferrari 246 GT has been with its present owner for some twenty years and as such is fresh to market, a superb and unmolested example that has been cared for as required to keep up to standard at all times. Fitted with the desirable Campagnolo wheels and with the seats having just been retrimmed by Ferrari specialists together with a mechanical inspection just completed, the Dino presents extremely well and, whilst not a Concours contender, no one could argue that it is not extremely pleasing on the eye! It's fitted with electric windows and a period eight-track cartridge player. We are currently awaiting the cars history and, whilst we understand that the indicated mileage of just over 31,000 may well be correct, we can confirm when we have access to the Dino's service records.Total 246 GT right-hand-drive production is believed to have been less than 500 giving this particular Ferrari an air of exclusivity and an ever increasing desirability making this an opportunity not to be missed for the discerning Ferrari collector. Your personal inspection is welcomed and encouraged to fully appreciate this rare, right-hand drive Prancing Horse. Please note that the registration number '37 TU' shown in the video does not form part of the sale. SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: 246 DINO GTYear: 1973Chassis Number: 06744Registration Number: 37 TUTransmission: ManualDrive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 31044 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: Black HideClick here for more details and images

Lot 704

TDF Blue, low mileage, two owners, well optioned and an excellent Ferrari service record. Unmissable.Manufactured from 2004 until 2009, the Ferrari F430 was the successor to the very successful 360M and, according to its creators, was at least 70% new compared with the previous model, itself a ground-breaker. Its aluminium structure was more rigid than the 360's, it had a new engine, a new F1 gearbox, a new differential and a brand-new chassis, and although the styling is obviously reminiscent of the 360M's, in reality, it's pretty much a ground-up design. Largely the work of Pininfarina, although overseen by Ferrari's design chief Frank Stephenson, the F430 still looks fresh today, more crisp-edged than the 360, with a strong hint of Enzo around the surface-erupting tail-lights.Its all-new 4.3-litre V8 engine, with four valves per cylinder instead of the 360's five and chain camshaft drive instead of belts, with a consequent great reduction in service costs, has a variable-valve-timing system lifted straight from the Enzo's V12, dry-sump lubrication, a very high compression ratio (11.3:1), a variable airflow plenum chamber and an enormous electronic brain making the decisions in the form of not one, but two, Bosch Motronic ME7 ECUs. At 483bhp it boasts 21% more power than the 360, exceeding even that of the mighty (and turbocharged) F40, whilst the torque spread is extraordinary for an engine keen to howl beyond 8500rpm. All these factors contribute to a 0-62mph time of just 3.7 seconds and a maximum speed in excess of 196mph.The advancements continued with the Manettino, the steering wheel-mounted selector for stability systems, damping, shift speed and throttle response. And there's the E-diff, whose calibrations this alters, a clever, clutch-controlled active differential that sorts out waywardness, not by inhibiting one rear wheel, but by pouring more torque into the other. Ferrari reckons it's worth three seconds a lap at the Fiorano test track, and it certainly helps make the F430 a far more forgiving machine than the 360, and a car of supremely subtle and keen responses. Our vendor is only the second owner of the this stunning Ferrari 430 F1 Coupe that comes with a full Ferrari main dealer service record and has covered only 22,137 miles. Finished in a striking shade of Tour de France Blue with a superb tan interior, it's accompanied by its factory Vehicle Identification Passport (VIP) photographically recording its route through the production process at Ferrari’s Maranello factory where every Ferrari has been built since 1947. Registered to its first owner in Surrey on 14th September 2006, it has a very impressive service record conducted by Maranello Egham every year from 2007 through to 2017 including two major service routines up to 21,120. In August 2020, it was serviced by Lancaster Ferrari Colchester at an indicated mileage of 22,005 and will be serviced by them again just prior to the auction and will come with a full MOT and its comprehensive history file corroborating the mileage and service history. Presented to auction in truly stunning condition, the time has now come for someone else to enjoy what must surely be one of the finest examples on the market today and, when combined with the low mileage and impeccable maintenance record, this could turn out to be one of your better decisions. Lot 705

One of only 799, this ultra low mileage 'Tour de France' is finished in a rather stylish colour combination. The F12 Berlinetta is the ultimate front-engined, rear-wheel drive Grand Tourer from Ferrari and made its debut at the 2012 Geneva Show featuring one of Ferrrari’s last naturally-aspirated V12 6.3-litre engines which delivered 740bhp with an impressive 690 Nm of torque offering 0-62mph in just 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 211mph.In October 2015, Ferrari announced a limited-edition variant, the F12tdf, its nomenclature referencing a competition variant of the 250 GT, so named following the latter's many victories in the Tour de France Automobile in the late 1950s/early 1960s. Like its illustrious predecessor, the F12tdf was a lightweight, track-focused model aimed at wealthy connoisseurs and gentleman racers and only 799 were built during the 2016 and 2017 seasons. The F12tdf utilised the same 6.3-litre V12 engine as the standard car, albeit modified by the addition of mechanical tappets and variable-geometry intake trumpets, to produce in excess of 770bhp. 110kg of weight was saved by the use of carbon fibre and fastidious use of lightweight materials for every element of the car. Every aspect of the car was assessed, from the narrow-section five-spoke wheels to the single-piece carbon door cards and even the passenger glovebox was considered unnecessary weight and therefore removed. The body, too, was reconsidered and featured state-of-the-art active aerodynamics that helped generate an 80% increase in downforce at 120mph, as well as unique design elements that paid tribute to the great Ferraris of the past, the most obvious being the 250 GTO–inspired slots over the rear haunches. The chassis, already considered to be excellent by road-car standards, was improved with the introduction of a rear-wheel steering system known as ‘Virtual Short Wheelbase’ to complement the dramatically widened front track and existing electronic control systems (ESC, ABS/EBD, F1-Trac and SSC 3). The result was a reduction of the 0-100 kph time to 2.9 seconds, top speed was now in excess of 340 kph and around Fiorano, the F12tdf was 2.0 seconds quicker than its standard sibling.According to the accompanying paperwork, this Ferrari F12 Tdf (Type F152 ACL), Chassis No. ZFF81BHT 6H0224560 was built during January 2017 in left-hand drive as a Gulf version i.e. subject to the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) Homologation requirements and destined for Kuwait. In common with many very special Ferraris, the order was routed through Ferrari’s Atelier Studio which offeried a remarkable level of personalisation and there is a list (in English) of the selected options on a plaque within the car. The special order (extracampionario) exterior colour selected was Argento Auteil with the interior mainly in Cuoio (natural leather) with Nero detailing. There is a full list from Ferrari of all the bespoke details and they include carbon fibre (CF) air filter covers, CF engine bay covers, Ferrari telemetry and track cameras, 20-inch diamond-forged wheels, aluminium brake calipers, Daytona racing seats, a number of alcantara and leather interior bespoke options, adaptive front lights, front suspension lifter, navigation maps, front and rear cameras, hi-power premium hi-fi system and integrated audio system and much more. The car is also accompanied by its ‘Attestato per vetture Serie speciali’ (Attestation for Special series vehicles) dated 8th February 2017 in a stylish sleeved yellow presentation folder showing its journey through the factory when being built and confirming its technical spec. The Ferrari was imported to the UK and first registered here on 1st April 2018, according to its UK V5C, and further documentation including Kuwaiti Registration papers, Kuwaiti Vehicle Quittance and export certificates, HMRC vehicle import post clearance checks, an invoice from Cars UK detailing UK Import Tax of £93,647 and DVLA confirmation of the car’s new UK registration number (LJ66 KFZ).The F12 has been enjoying life in London and, at the time of cataloguing, was displaying an odometer reading of around 1,275km (795 miles). There are a couple of invoices from Rosso Corsa in Milan at 890 km and 1,086 km respectively and one from Dick Lovett in Swindon for £2,779 dated 15th July 2021 at 1,200km covering a routine service, four new Pirellis, an air-con service and a fresh MOT (valid until 8th July 2022). Representing a wonderful opportunity to own one of Ferrari's all-time great, front-engined supercars, this stunning ‘Atelier bespoke’ F12tdf comes complete with its tool kit, locking wheel nut key, service wallet and manuals, and the all-important F12tdf ‘Attestato'. As might be expected of such a low-mileage, one-owner car, this unique F12tdf presents superbly and is, without doubt, the ultimate front-engined Ferrari supercar and a true modern-day collectible that will continue to be held in high esteem by collectors and enthusiasts for years to come..SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: F12Year: 2017Chassis Number: ZFF81BHT6H0224560Registration Number: LJ66 KFZEngine Number: 34880Drive Side: Left-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 1275 KMMake: LHDInterior Colour: Cuoio AlcantaraClick here for more details and images

Lot 706

On offer from 35 years of private ownership with over £120,000 spent since 1987. One of just 29 UK-supplied Boxers known to still exist and surely one of the best.By the dawn of the 1970s, it had become clear that Ferrari's front-engined, Daytona replacement would have to position the engine behind the driver in order to remain at the forefront of the supercar market. The Miura was selling well, Maserati had just introduced the mid-engined Bora and even the cut-price De Tomaso Pantera offered an exotic badge and layout for less well-heeled mortals.Despite the fact that replacing the Daytona, long regarded as the ultimate Grand Tourer, seemed an impossible feat, the all-new 365 GT4/BB appeared on the world stage at the 1971 Turin Motor Show and received a rapturous reception. With streamlined, low and extremely aggressive lines, it was the first production Ferrari to be fitted with the boxer-type 12-cylinder engine derived from the F1 unit. The technical approach taken was completely different from that adopted on all other Ferrari models produced so far, and the architecture was not that of the classic front-engined V12s who's longitudinally-mounted engine featured opposing cylinder banks. The two Bs stand for Berlinetta Boxer and the 'Boxer' reference was derived from the fact that the cylinder banks form an angle of 180 degrees, producing an engine with a flat, rectangular shape enabling the cars centre of gravity to be lowered. With the BB, close attention was also paid to the transmission, with the gearbox positioned under the engine next to the oil sump. From a technical standpoint, this solution rendered design and construction considerably more complex and consequently, the gestation period for this model took longer than usual, however, it was definitely worth the wait.Engine displacement was 4400cc, with 380bhp and a top speed of around 180mph and these outstanding levels of performance led the 365 GT4 BB to be crowned the fastest car in the world when it was unveiled. The tubular steel spaceframe chassis was reinforced by the addition of integral steel panels around the cockpit section, making it virtually a 'monocoque' construction and the wedge shape of the nose appears to owe quite a lot to the 1968 Pininfarina P6 concept car. The lower section of the nose featured a full-width aluminium egg-crate radiator grille, from the top edge of which an indent line ran around the body perimeter, visually creating an upper and lower half and rendering it even more streamlined. This separation was emphasised by the two-tone paint: satin black on the lower part, and the chosen body colour on the upper part. The contrast gave the car a super sporty, modern look, pre-empting a trend that is still in vogue today.Between 1973 and 1976, just 387 Boxer 365s were produced with just 88 in right-hand drive and only 58 of those destined for the UK. This fabulous example is one of just 29 that remain taxed/SORN’d in the UK today. Ordered new by Maranello Concessionaires Ltd for their Chairman, Colonel Ronnie Hoare, on 2nd May 1973 to be used as their official demonstrator, the car was specified in Blue Metallic Dino 106-A-72 with a beige interior, as can be seen on the copies of the original invoice and delivery sheets on file. This would appear to be the 40th 365 GT4 BB produced and was the second of the 58 365 GT4 BBs officially delivered to the UK. Naturally, as Maranello’s new model, it featured in numerous magazines including Motoring News on 14th July 1974, Motorsport September in 1974, Autocar on 5th October 1974 and Motorsport in June 1975.Pleasingly, the car’s history file has a detailed summary of its ownership history including when it was bought and sold, to whom and where it was located. It’s believed to have been resprayed in the late 1970s in Rosso Corsa and then been exported to a private individual in Oklahoma in 1983. He subsequently moved to California before moving back to Texas, hence its Texas Certificate of Title dated 1985. They spent $15,000 with Bob Smith Coachworks in Texas before selling the car in 1987 to Roy Fish of Daytona Imports who shipped the car back to the UK and sold it to an individual in Surrey. Having only owned the car for a matter of weeks, the Boxer was sold to our vendor in December of 1987, and it has remained in his care ever since.Passionately owned for 35 years, this matching-numbers Boxer is surely one of the best. The massively detailed lever-arch history file contains every quote and invoice during our vendor’s ownership in addition to detailed history from previous ownership. From invoices within the file, it appears that the car has benefitted from over £120,000 spent with various marque specialists since 1987 including Maranello Concessionaires, Prestige Coachworks and Maranello Surrey, on its maintenance, engine rebuilds and restoration. The Ferrari had covered around 31,000 miles at the time of our vendor’s purchase and the current mileage is still only just over 53,000, however, they feel that they have done everything they want to do with the car including road trips and the occasional hill-climb/timed sprint when their main competition car was in need of work.As mentioned before, the car’s history file is substantial and potential buyers might want to invest an hour or so going through it. We picked out the following:The engine was rebuilt/refreshed by MCL in 1990 at a cost of £7,000During 2006/7, Prestige Restoration carried out a substantial cosmetic and mechanical restoration including new sills with new metal fabricated and welded in, rust work sorted on front and rear clamshells, engine rebuild with all new belts, all of the necessary parts resprayed including the lower half of the car in the correct satin black, the wheels in silver, the engine resprayed in the correct colours, front and rear clamshells and the roofFrom 2010 to 2020, the Boxer was maintained and serviced by NBA Sportscars in Surrey with invoices totalling over £10,000QV London changed the cambelt and performed a major service in 2015 at a cost of £4,149Most recently, marque specialists Rardley Motors Ltd performed an engine out major service in June 2021 including cambelts, auxillary belts and related tensioners as well as general maintenance at a cost of £5,757The file contains every MOT Certificate from our vendors ownership except for 2003 and 2006/2007 when its restoration was being undertaken. The car retains its original under-hood toolbox with original tools and spares, original space-saver spare wheel, original jack bag with jack, original owner's manual fabric case with manual and radio information, and two sets of keys one with the original Ferrari key fob.In generally excellent condition, this UK-supplied, right-hand drive, matching numbers 365 GT4 BB is a fine example of one of the last truly hand-built Ferraris and would be a great addition to any collection of important Ferraris. Succeeded by the heavier, less powerful and more abundant 512 BB, the 365 BB remains the connoisseur's choice with the market continuing to confirm this.SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: 365 GT4 BBYear: 1974Chassis Number: 17625Registration Number: TNR 595MTransmission: ManualEngine Number: 17625Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 53000 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: Tan LeatherClick here for more details and images

A striking example of Ferrari's era-defining Testarossa, UK-supplied in right-hand drive and only 10,500 miles from new. When Ferrari introduced the Testarossa at the Lido on the Champs-Elysees on the eve of the 1984 Paris Salon de l’Auto, it caused a sensation. The crisp, square-cut almost deliberately functional lines and superior mechanical specification instantly rendered the 512BBi yesterday’s car and it soon came to be rightly regarded as possibly the best car Ferrari had ever built.Today, the Testarossa has become a design icon, symbolic of eighties culture, and despite a period a few years ago when interest plateaued, its popularity has returned and the market is strengthening rapidly. It’s not a surprise really since the Testarossa offers a rare package of serious performance, practicality, reasonable comfort and confidence-inspiring handling at high speed that becomes almost addictive. One of just 438 UK-supplied, right-hand drive examples, this immaculate Testarossa is classically finished in Rosso Corsa with Crema hide and Rosso carpets and was delivered new by H.R.Owen on the 7th January 1991 to its first lucky owner. On offer today from a private collection, it has been lightly used in recent years but, as can be seen from our images, remains in simply fabulous condition. It’s been enhanced with an upgraded Pioneer CD unit and a glorious sounding Koenig sports exhaust system and has covered the grand total of 10,475 miles. Naturally, at this low mileage, the car’s history file is not huge but it appears to be comprehensive. The file contains previous MOT Certificates between 1993 and 2003 and the original service book is present with five stamps. H.R. Owen carried out the first service and a combination of Rardley, Maranello Sales and Keys Motorsport have looked after the car since then, with the last stamp by Keys Motorsport in 2013 on 10,351 miles including cambelt and tensioners. When the car was serviced by Keys, a glowing condition report was written for the car, testifying to its lovely condition and this is included within the history file. The car is accompanied by the jack, tool roll and its original leather book pack with manuals and instruction books. This is an exceptional example of a much sought after model in lovely original condition which simply needs to be prepared for use and enjoyed.SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: TESTAROSSAYear: 1991Chassis Number: ZFFAA17C000086415Registration Number: H865 MPBTransmission: ManualEngine Number: 23494Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 10475 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: Cream Leather

A UK-supplied manual F355 in striking Giallo Fly Yellow with an enviable service history. The Ferrari F355 is now considered a modern classic, so beautiful, so well-engineered and so well received that it marked the beginning of the end of the old-guard Ferraristi' philosophy that the only ‘real’ Ferraris were ones with 12-cylinder engines. The F355 Berlinetta burst onto the world stage in the Spring of 1994, with the Targa GTS and Spider following in 1995. The new car shared almost exactly the same dimensions as its predecessor, the 348, yet it was virtually a new car, as its flowing coachwork indicated. Many hours of wind tunnel testing influenced the harmonious shape which incorporated an F1-style flat bottom with channelled airflow generating enough downforce to offset any lift. The F355's name is derived from its 3.5-litre V8 engine and five valves per cylinder - as denoted by the Cinquevalvole inscription on the rocker covers, and this longitudinally mounted power unit generates an impressive 374bhp at a spine-tingling 8250rpm. The con-rods are titanium alloy, the clutch is housed in magnesium alloy and the Bilstein shock absorbers use electronic sensors to provide active damping. In 1994, the Ferrari F355 was a technological tour de force. Around Ferrari's 1.86-mile Fiorano test track, the F355 was two seconds a lap faster than the 12-cylinder, 512 TR and that level of performance, combined with its sensational shape, ensured its success on the world stage. This delightful example is a right-hand drive, UK-supplied, manual gearbox car that was first registered here on 15th August 1997 and is finished in Giallo Fly (yellow) with a Nero (black) leather interior. The current mileage is only 34,974, supported by an excellent service/maintenance history, with our vendor alone (since 2018) spending £24,600, always ensuring it has had annual servicing (including belts), maintaining its splendid condition. Indeed, it has just had a full service and an MOT ready for sale. The car was expertly repainted (in Giallo Fly, its original colour) in 2017 and is accompanied by lots of invoices. The registration numbers 'ELL501T' & 'P1OPK' will not accompany the car.SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: F355 SPYDER MANUALYear: 1997Chassis Number: ZFFXR48C000109656Registration Number: TBATransmission: Manual Engine Number: 47161 Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 34974 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: Nero Click here for more details and images

Competitive F355 Challenge car from long-term storage at a very realistic guide. In 1995, Ferrari introduced a race-ready F355 Challenge model designed for use specifically in the Ferrari Challenge Series. The bespoke model was created by starting with a standard Ferrari F355 Berlinetta and modifying it with a $30,000 factory-to-dealer supplied kit. Initially in 1995, the cars were supplied with factory fitted cage mounts and without carpets, however, each year, the cars arrived with more and more factory fitted race parts, culminating in 1998 with full-evolution cars which were supplied as virtually complete race cars. The factory modifications were more substantial than the 348 Challenge and the engine, gearbox and shock-absorbers were sealed with special tags to prevent unauthorised alterations. The factory fitted modifications included a roll-cage, racing bucket seats, manual radiator fan control and upgraded fans, competition steering wheel, competition clutch, upgraded 14" Brembo brakes (carried over from the F40), solid suspension bushes, competition springs and brake cooling ducts amongst a number of other detail changes from the base car. The F355 'Challenge' shares the same engine and physical dimensions as the original car and 108 cars in total were produced, all with the six-speed manual transmissionOffered here is one of the original factory Ferrari F355 Challenge cars finished in Rosso Corsa. The first owner was Eberhard Jung who competed in the Ferrari F355 Challenge in Europe in 1999. It was sold to Mathias Korff who also competed in the Challenge in 2000 prior to being imported to the UK in 2001 and used in competition by Witt Gamski. It was subsequently purchased by our vendor in 2007 and used by him that year in the Ferrari Open Challenge and prepared by renowned Ferrari Specialist Paul Witts. The Ferrari was then put into long-term storage but has been run since, however, it would be advisable to go through basic recommissioning before a start up.The registration number R1 REH does not accompany the car. Please note- there are two sets of spare wheels and tyres available by separate negotiation.SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: F355 CHALLENGEYear: 1998Chassis Number: ZFFXR41BOOO111648Registration Number: T251 LJWTransmission: ManualDrive Side: Left-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 28920 KMMake: LHDInterior Colour: BlackClick here for more details and images

Attractive, beautifully presented, low mileage, 360 Spider in a rather smooth colour combination.Produced between 1999 and 2005, the Ferrari 360 was the successor to the well-loved Ferrari F355, and to this day enjoys a loyal fanbase among Ferrari and supercar enthusiasts. With its Pininfarina-penned flowing lines, the 360 marked a significant design shift away from the angular nature of the F355, along with enjoying a lower unsprung weight, more powerful engine and an all-aluminium space-frame chassis which was reported to be 40% stiffer than its predecessors. The Modena was the first model to arrive in 1999, but the Spider was hot on its heels, being unveiled at the 2000 Geneva Motor Show. Due to the mechanics of the retracting roof, significant engineering changes were required for the Spider version, including enlarging the side air intakes and moving the inlet manifolds towards the centre of the engine. Offered here is a lovely low mileage Ferrari 360 Spider supplied new to the UK and specified with F1 paddle-shift transmission, Argento metallic silver paintwork and a Blu Scuro leather interior with matching carpets and hood. The clean HPI certificate shows two previous keepers prior to 2016 when our vendor purchased the Ferrari from his business partner. Only enjoyed on sunny days and dry stored correctly in a heated garage or professional storage facility today this example indicates just under 7,500 miles, presents beautifully and is offered complete with its history file, tool kit and tyre inflator. It's been diligently maintained by the local Ferrari main agent and invoices within the file show routine maintenance and a cam and auxiliary belt change at 6,391 miles. Rarely do examples of the Ferrari 360 come to market in such well-preserved condition and a tasteful colour combination that makes a refreshing change from red with cream. The 360 is a great looking modern classic that is fast becoming sought after and if you are to use your sports car only on sunny days, then let it be a drop-top Ferrari. This is a car in which you would be proud to arrive at any function, having enjoyed that glorious Ferrari V8 soundtrack on the way there, and, if the function were to prove a little boring, the drive home could be the high-spot of your day.SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: 360 SPIDER F1Year: 2001Chassis Number: ZFFYT53C000123913Registration Number: Y991 CLATransmission: F1Engine Number: 62633 Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 7447 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: Navy BluClick here for more details and images

Very rare, Factory 'Chairs and Flairs' GTS in gleaming Nero. There is no doubt that this stunning 1973 Ferrari Dino 246GTS is simply ‘World Quality’. We have seen many lovely examples of these beautiful cars over the years but this one is exceptional. It was delivered new to Modern Classic Motora, Nevada in January 1974, finished in Nero with a Pelle Rosa interior, and onwards to its first owner who lived in greater Los Angeles. In addition to electric windows and air-conditioning, it was ordered from new with two options that have become known as ‘Chairs and Flares’ and being rare, add considerably to the car’s appeal. To be accurate the seating option was listed as "Nero 161 inserts" and refers to Daytona-style black inserts in whatever colour of leather was specified for the rest of the interior. ‘The Flares’ option was technically listed as “Wide wheel/Housings" and refers to the flared wheel arches and sand-cast Campagnolo wheels fitted by the factory before despatch. The Dino’s first owner was to keep it for the next thirty years, mainly in the LA area, and in 2004 the time had come to move it on. It had only covered 36,871 miles at this point but was 30 years old, so the car’s second owner committed to a full restoration. It was fully stripped to bare metal and refinished in Giallo Fly (yellow), the interior was totally refurbished in tan with new ‘mouse-fur’ on the dash-top and new carpets. The brake calipers were rebuilt with new hoses and pads, new shocks and shock bushings were fitted with suspension bushings, new lid supports, door and window seals and the chrome was re-plated. All this work was photo-documented, however, it’s a little academic as our vendor, the Dino’s third owner, went quite a lot further a few years later.Having purchased this little yellow Ferrari in Los Angeles during 2010, our vendor added it to his eclectic collection where it was used lightly. An international business man with influence in every continent, he decided that it would be advantageous if his Dino could be awarded Classiche Certification and being a man with a reputation for standards and detail, tasked Cremonini Carrozzeria SRL (Cremonini Classic) of Modena with creating, what he hoped would be, the best 246GTS in the world. Whether they succeeded or not is for you to judge but, now returned to it’s original Nero with red leather ‘Daytona’ seats and red carpets, it was granted full Classiche Certification in April 2018 confirming matching numbers. The Cremonini restoration amounted to some £350,000 and within the history file are many invoices detailing the process. The substantial file also contains the car’s US Title, UK V5C (previously registered as DBY 970M), current Italian registration, ZA 660 TA, Dino handbooks, the warranty card in its leather wallet and naturally, the hard-won Classiche in the famous ‘Red Book’. Pleasingly the car retains what appears to be its original tool-roll.We welcome and encourage any inspection of this spectacularly presented, 'Chairs and Flares', Classiche certified 246 GTS.SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: DINO 246 GTSYear: 1974Chassis Number: 06452Registration Number: ZA66 OTADrive Side: Left-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 1935 MilesMake: LHDInterior Colour: Red LeatherClick here for more details and images

Fabulous, UK-supplied, right-hand drive Dino GTS finished in rare Blu Dino Metallic with Classiche Certification. There was an addition to the range in 1972 when the Spider version was introduced. With the exception of the detachable roof there was little difference between the two models, but the 246GTS, as it was designated, has become all the more desirable as a collector's car, particularly as only 1,274 were produced in its three years of production.Presented here for auction at the National Ferrari Day in association with the Ferrari Owners Club Great Britain is a beautiful 1973 Dino GTS, chassis number 05880 delivered in March 1973 to GW Perfect, Bucks finished in Blu Dino Metallic with a Pelle Beige interior. The car presents beautifully and remains in its factory colours indicating just 24,277 miles on the speedometer at the time of cataloguing. Importantly, this example is supported by Ferrari Classiche Certificate confirming the matching numbers engine, correct colours and original unrepaired chassis. Offered directly from a significant car collection in Germany, chassis 05880 is accompanied by a history file which includes German registration papers and invoices for maintenance over the years including a full engine rebuild in April 2020 carried out by a highly regarded Ferrari specialist. Records indicate that this beautiful GTS remained in the ownership of GW Perfect from 1973 until 1989, selling to another UK owner before being exported to Germany in 2009.  It's also accompanied by the desirable Classiche 'Red Book, the original Warranty Card, confirmation that the Perspex headlamp covers were fitted from new and the original Bill of Sale from Maranello Concessionaires dated 10/04/1973 for £5,998.52. There is also paperwork detailing comprehensive maintenance including professional inspections whilst the car was in GermanyCorrectly dry stored and enjoyed occasionally, this remarkably well-preserved Dino with low mileage and low ownership is presented to market in the UK, correctly imported on a temporary UK Customs Bond ready to be exported globally or re-registered here in the UK. In summary, this is a highly desirable, collector-grade, UK-supplied, right-hand drive Dino GTS with a Ferrari Classiche and finished in rarely seen Blu Dino Metallic which perfectly suits its glorious Pininfarina lines. SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: DINO 246 GTS - CLASSICHEYear: 1973Chassis Number: 05880Registration Number: NOT REGISTEREDTransmission: ManualEngine Number: 0010787Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 24277 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: Beige

Lot 717

Initially purchased through Nigel Mansell Sports Cars Ltd, this smart 328 GTS has led a sheltered life covering a mere 2,760 miles from new.The Ferrari 328 GTS and GTB made their worldwide debut at the 1985 Frankfurt Motor Show and its styling was an obvious evolution of the Ferrari 308 Series, however, Pininfarina's Leonardo Fioravanti had softened his previous design and it still remained a popular choice with Ferrari aficionados. Two variants of this mid-engine sportscar were offered, the Gran Turismo Berlinetta Coupé and the Gran Turismo Spider which featured a removable Targa top, offering an exhilarating open-air driving experience and affording the driver and their fortunate passenger unbridled access to the unmistakable howl of the dry-sump Ferrari V8.Under the engine cover is the same transversely-mounted, fuel-injected V8 from the Ferrari 308 Quattrovalvole, with an increase in displacement. By increasing both bore and stroke, the quattrovalvole's capacity was raised to 3,186cc which, together with a higher compression ratio, revised pistons and an improved Marelli engine management system, lifted maximum power to 270bhp at 7,000rpm. Top speed was raised to within a whisker of 160mph (258km/h) and 60mph arrived from a standing start in 5.5 seconds. This superb, right-hand drive 328GTS Targa-topped convertible was supplied by Nigel Mansell Sports Cars in the Isle of Man to a Mr Roy Dowle in March 1990 at a cost of £97,500, which included £1,995 worth of Ferrari luggage, and the original invoice is in the car's history file. Initially registered, G328 AJT, its Manx registration was GMN 328 for 19 years before subsequently returning to its UK registration in July 2011 when it was purchased by our vendor. Having been dry stored for a considerable number of years, it has covered a mere 2,670 miles from new and is described as in generally good condition, although in need of mechanical recommissioning simply because it's spent some time off the road. This classic Ferrari V8-engined sports car has an understandably small history file, containing Isle of Man registration and export documents, its Ferrari leather-bound book pack containing Ferrari pre-owned booklets, owners manual, service booklet and dealership network booklet.A UK-supplied, right-hand drive, GTS is a rare find at this tiny mileage and has been guided to allow for the appropriate engine service to return to manufacturers parameters.SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: 328 GTSYear: 1989Chassis Number: ZFFWA20C000082244Registration Number: G328 AJTTransmission: ManualEngine Number: 18633Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 2670 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: Cream LeatherClick here for more details and images

Lot 718

Dramatically presented in stunning 'stealth-spec', this 23,000-miles, Nero Daytona example has aged brilliantly and retains its Ferrari warranty until 2023.The Ferrari 458 Italia was first officially unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, and was the replacement for the F430, in the mid-engine, V8-powered model range. In keeping with Ferrari tradition, the body was designed by Pininfarina under the leadership of Donato Coco, the Ferrari design director. The car's exterior styling and features were designed for aerodynamic efficiency, producing a downforce of 140kg (309lb) at 200km/h (120mph). In particular, the front grille features deformable winglets that lower at high speeds, in order to offer reduced drag. The 458 is powered by a 4.5-litre V8 engine from the ‘Ferrari/Maserati’ F136-engine family, producing 562bhp and 398lb.ft torque at 6,000rpm with 80% torque available at 3,250rpm. The engine also featured direct fuel injection, which is a first for Ferrari mid-engine set-ups in its road cars. The car's suspension features double wishbones at the front and a multi-link setup at the rear, coupled with E-Diff and F1-Trac traction control systems, designed to improve the car's cornering and longitudinal acceleration by 32% when compared with its predecessors. The brakes include a pre-fill function whereby the pistons in the calipers move the pads into contact with the discs on lift-off to minimize delay in the brakes being applied. Ferrari's official 0–62mph acceleration is 2.9 seconds, the top speed is 210mph and Ferrari quote a power to weight ratio of 5.75lb per horsepower.Offered here is a beautiful 2011 Ferrari 458 that’s covered just 22,500 miles from new. It's finished in Nero Daytona with a Nero leather/alcantara interior and sits on a set of 20" forged dark painted rims complete with yellow brake calipers just peeking through. It was extensively optioned from new with Scuderia wing shields, electrochromic interior mirrors, radio-nav system and Bluetooth, front and rear parking sensors and a yellow rev counter. The interior is equally impressive with Grigio Chiaro special stitching, electric seats, alcantara armrests, carbon fibre central bridge, carbon fibre steering wheel and a high power Hi-Fi system. This stunning 458 is a testament to Pininfarina’s design, ageing well since production began back in 2009. It's very well optioned, in a modern ‘stealthy’ colour combination, with a great service history, complete with all its manuals and service book and the remainder of the Ferrari warranty until February 2023. This represents a fantastic opportunity to own a low mileage 458 Italia at a guide that looks irresistible. .SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: 458 ITALIAYear: 2011Chassis Number: ZFF67NHC000179638Registration Number: BX11 JWNTransmission: DCTEngine Number: 171071Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 22500 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: Black Leather

Patently cherished, this right-hand drive, manual gearbox car has been hiding in a private collection and is now ready for a new owner.October 1975, saw the debut at the Paris Motor Show of the most successful shape ever to wear the Cavallino Rampante emblem, the Ferrari 308. Over 20,000 examples of all engine types and sizes were produced from 1975-1989. This new car was constructed on a traditional steel tube chassis, but its beautiful body was firstly manufactured in GRP and then after two years, Scaglietti started making GTBs in steel. The 3-litre, four-cam V8 was more or less unchanged until March 1981 when Bosch fuel injection was added in place of the four double-choke Webers, although the final drive was altered on these cars to give similar acceleration to a carburettor car. Both versions have their supporters, but the 308 is generally accepted as one of Ferrari's all-time greatest road cars and values continue to strengthen. This 308 GTSi was originally delivered to Switzerland and is finished in Rosso Corsa with a cream interior. It is unknown when the car was converted to its current right-hand drive setup. It was first registered in the UK in 1999 and there are service records detailing all the work carried out on the car since then. These records show a total of five cambelt changes since 1999 with the latest being carried out during a major service in August 2015 by Slades Garage when they also fitted a new clutch. This year the car has received further love and attention with a new oil cooler, alternator and wheel bearings fitted along with a health check by Graypaul. The seats were also repaired and tidied up at the same time and the interior now presents very nicely indeed. In early 2000, Woodbridge Classic Cars in Suffolk carried out a speedometer change when the car was showing 58,407km and, since then, the distance covered is shown in miles with 17,300 currently on the odometer, meaning a total of approximately 54,000 miles has been covered by this car since 1981. It was serviced in April 2021 at a cost of just over £1,000 and the MOT is valid until June 2023.The current custodian has had the car in his collection since 2018 and with only 150 miles or so travelled in four years he has decided the time is right to move the 308 on. The appropriate cherished registration number, OIA 308, will remain with the car.SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: 308 GTSIYear: 1981Chassis Number: ZFFHA02B000035057Registration Number: OIA 308Transmission: ManualEngine Number: F106B00114Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 54000 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: CremaClick here for more details and images

Lot 720

Beautifully presented, UK-supplied California with less than 20,000 miles and a superb service history.Introduced at the Paris Salon in 2008, the Ferrari California had been conceived as a ‘Grand Tourer’ rather than an out-and-out sports car and was intended to appeal to those who might otherwise opt for a Bentley, an Aston Martin or an SL-Class Mercedes-Benz. It was quite a radical move for the marque pioneering Maranello’s first front-mounted V8 engine, two-piece folding metal roof, dual clutch seven-speed transmission, direct fuel injection and multi-link rear suspension. Styled by Pininfarina and subject to over 1,000 hours of wind tunnel testing, the new car utilised aluminium for both its chassis and bodywork construction. Related to that in the F430, its 4297cc 'quad cam', 32-valve V8 developed some 453bhp and 358lbft of torque and was allied to the aforementioned dual clutch seven-speed transmission as standard. Despite being one of the least expensive models in the range, the California boasted carbon-ceramic disc brakes and the traction control system from the marque's flagship 599 and, a ‘grand tourer’ it might have been, but 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds and 193mph were firmly in ‘junior supercar’ territory. Less demanding to drive than its siblings and therefore more approachable during everyday, 'real world' motoring, the notional 2+2-seater more than fulfilled its brief of attracting a whole new generation of customers to the Ferrari fold.Entered here by its second long-term owner, this impressively specified Ferrari California has only covered 19,600 miles from new supported by a comprehensive main dealer service history. Supplied new by H.R. Owen, the specification included a traditional Rosso Corsa paint finish and a stunning Daytona-inspired, full leather interior. The majority of the cabin is finished in ‘Cuoio Naturale’ using the finest quality natural full-grain cowhide and the Daytona seating is a combination of Naturale with Crema centre panels cross banded with Naturale. The door panels are lined in quilted Crema leather and the whole cabin is enhanced with Beige Chiaro stitching. The dashboard, headlining, A-pillars and steering wheel all make use of the light tan Naturale leather making for a very opulent and stylish interior. The comprehensive specification includes electric seats, steering wheel, LEDS, 20-inch Diamond Cut sports wheels, parking camera, Magnaride dual-mode suspension, an iPod connection, yellow calipers and a similarly coloured rev counter. The service record shows twenty two H.R.Owen entries relating to annual servicing and general mechanical attention culminating in a £3,087.33 invoice for a service and light maintenance in May 2020.One of the most stylish convertibles in the world, the California is also relatively practical, not demanding the levels of daily worship requested by some of its more complex siblings, and consequently the ownership market is somewhat larger. They have now reached a level that many feel is the clever investment, and we cannot disagree when you look at the stunning example on offer here. The Registration Number illustrated, (8 NOV), does not form part of the sale and the car will revert to its original registration, LJ11 EPA.SpecificationMake: FERRARIModel: CALIFORNIAYear: 2011Chassis Number: ZFFLJ65C000180919Registration Number: LJ11 EPATransmission: AutomaticEngine Number: 173092 Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 19320 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: Cuoio

The rare Sport 300 is a lightweight, high-performance, road-going derivative of the Esprit X180R and widely regarded as the best Esprit ever. For customers that missed out on the very limited production run of X180Rs, the Esprit Sport 300 was offered in 1993 and was essentially a road-going version of the American SCCA race cars. Styled by Julian Thompson, Lotus’ talented chief stylist, and originally shown as a concept at the Birmingham show in 1992, the Sport 300 was destined to be sold in a Limited Edition of just 50, however, in the end 64 cars were eventually built. At £64,995 the Sport 300 was a rare and very expensive commodity – a whole £18,000 more than an Esprit S4 but still £9,000 cheaper than a Ferrari 348tb.To simply stunning effect, Thompson added a new front air dam with integral brake cooling ducts, extended wheel arches and a new rear wing to the existing S4 bodywork. Underneath, however, this is not a modified S4 but was effectively a derivative of the successful American SCCA and IMSA Supercar Esprit X180R racers. Extensive use of composites in its construction shaved about 80kg from the S4’s 1,366kg kerb weight and torsional stiffness was improved through the use of an engine bay cross-brace, a bonded-in panel where the sunroof used to be and a modified front cross-member and backbone. The same double wishbone front and transverse link/trailing arm rear suspension was retained, but stiffer springs and dampers were fitted all round and the geometry was tweaked. In addition, the hub carriers were modified and an adjustable top-link on the rear suspension added. Easily the Sport 300’s most eye-catching feature is its massive OZ three-piece wheels which measure 8½ x 16-inch at the front and 10½ x 17-inch at the rear. Grip, therefore, is a Sport 300 forte and so is stopping ability with 327mm ventilated discs at the front and similarly specified 280mm discs at the rear. Four-piston AP Racing calipers do the grabbing and are supplemented by a Delco ABS anti-lock system. The Sport 300 was fitted with the same, canted 2,174cc twin-cam 16-valve engine as in the S4, however, with handling and grip that have never been equalled by any other Esprit models, it was obvious that a little more power would be welcome. The hybrid Garrett T3/T4 turbocharger was fed air through a more efficient charge-cooler and the engine sported larger inlet valves with polished ports which, when combined with recalibrated engine management, a little more boost and 98-octane unleaded fuel, resulted in 302bhp at 6,400rpm and 287lb.ft of torque at 4,400rpm, compared with the S4’s 264bhp at 6,500rpm and 261lb.ft at 3,900rpm. As well as taking the specific output to a heady 139bhp per litre, the power-to-weight ratio takes a hike from the S4’s 197bhp per tonne to 243bhp per tonne which was not too dissimilar to Porsches latest 3.6-litre 911 Turbo. With pin-sharp handling, race bred responses and a bit more power, it’s no wonder that over the years the Sport 300 has become the ‘Holy Grail’ amongst Esprit enthusiasts and with only 64 ever built, they are seldom to be found on the open market. This, UK-supplied, right-hand drive Sport 300 is one of those 64 cars built for the worldwide market and has covered just over 50,500 miles. It presents superbly in Camel Yellow (after the Camel cigarettes - sponsored Lotus F1 cars of the period) with a distinctively trimmed interior in Royal Blue and Dark Charcoal Alcantara. We understand that it was damaged in an accident around March 2001, however, this was not recorded as no insurance company was involved. The owner at the time decided to send it back to Lotus to be fully reinstated and a new chassis was fitted and a number of small jobs attended to whilst the car was being returned to its pristine best. He was obviously delighted with the result when it returned from the Hethel factory and subsequently kept the car for several more years. There are photographs showing this work when it was carried out and supporting documents in the history file. So, although it’s a 1994 car it effectively dates from 2001 and we welcome and encourage interested parties to come and see this sparkling Esprit for themselves. There’s a large amount of documentation and photos with the car, including paperwork covering the factory rebuild in 2001, all original handbooks and service books and the original keys. The three-piece, Oz Racing alloy wheels have been dismantled, refurbished and reassembled, and all are fitted with excellent tyres. The car comes with two original specification rear tyres, quite special in the 300's sizes along with a few other parts. The cherished registration number, L300 LTD (Lotus 300 Limited Edition), will remain with the car. With only 64 ever built and regarded by all concerned as “The best Esprit ever”, this isn’t an opportunity that’s likely to present itself any time soon.SpecificationMake: LOTUSModel: ESPRIT SPORT 300Year: 1994Chassis Number: SCC082910RHA68036Registration Number: L300 LTDTransmission: ManualDrive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 50686 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: Leather/AlcantaraClick here for more details and images

Lot 417

One of only 33 UK-supplied examples, two owners in total, just 22,000 miles from new and a full Audi service history.Audi AG’s involvement with motorsport seems fairly recent compared to their competitors Mercedes-Benz and BMW whose trophy cabinets bulge with silverware from many decades past, however, three of the companies that merged to form Auto Union AG and subsequently Audi, DKW, Horch and Wanderer, have very respectable histories in circuit racing and hill-climbs so the DNA was undoubtedly there. Not long after Auto Union and NSU merged to become the current day Audi AG, a motorsport programme was on the agenda and the name is now synonymous with success having dominated Group-A rallying in the 1980s, years of good results in the DTM and other Touring Car and Supertouring Championships in the 1990s and beyond, followed by starting the new millennium with three consecutive victories at the ‘24 Hours of Le Mans’, a race widely regarded as the pinnacle of motorsport.During these periods, Audi released sportier versions into the top-end of their road-going model line-up as a nod to the success they were enjoying in motorsport. The RS4 and RS6 were most notably well received and led to RS versions of most of the model line up, however, Audi didn’t have much supercar heritage until, in 2006, they took a bold step to show the world that they could also build such a car and the R8 was the result. The R8 is a two seat, mid-engine supercar positioned as Audi’s flagship model (a title it still holds today). It was launched in 2007 with two engines, the 4.2-litre FSI V8 and the 5.2-litre FSI V10 and uses Audi’s legendary Quattro four-wheel drive system which has been honed through decades of motorsport. It’s cutting-edge design, and performance to match, gained great acclaim in the motoring press and proved the car earned its place in the supercar arena along with the likes of Porsche, Ferrari, and McLaren. But can you make the best even better? Audi AG’s private subsidiary company ‘Audi Sport GmbH’ answered that question in 2011 by developing a very special model in-house which would be produced in limited numbers and named it the R8 ‘GT’. The brief in short was simple ‘more power, less weight’. Introduced at the 2010 Wörthersee Tour, the Audi R8 GT (coupé) is a high-performance variant of the R8 V10 and was followed by its sunshine sibling, the R8 GT Spyder, unveiled at the 2011 '24 Hours of Le Mans'. Limited to only 333 units worldwide, the R8 GT Spyder combines the aggressiveness of the R8 GT with an open top driving experience. At £158,145 when new, the R8 GT Spyder was Audi’s most expensive road car to date (over £40,000 more than the standard V10 Spyder). Specification highlights include a power increase of 35bhp to 553bhp, carbon ceramic brakes, and a traditional spring suspension set-up (that sits 10mm lower than the standard V10’s variable Magnetic Ride system). The engine frame is made of ultra-light magnesium and the soft top cover and the large side panels at the rear are formed from carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP). CFRP is also used for the modified front spoiler, the fixed rear spoiler, and the new rear bumper and even the seats are made of carbon fibre which result in a weight saving of 32kg alone. Together, these components provide a weight saving of 85kg compared to the standard V10 Spyder and the resultant 197 mph top speed and 0-62 mph sprint time of 3.8 seconds make the GT a true supercar – but one you could easily use every day.The car presented here is a UK-supplied (one of just 33 we understand) 2013 Audi R8 (Type 42) GT Spyder, presented in striking Sphere Blue matt paintwork (a rare colour chosen by Audi for many of the PR images of the GT model at launch) and has been enjoyed by just two owners (in total), with our private vendor having purchased it in 2016. Naturally, it has a full Audi service history (see images; N.B. there is a typo written in the service booklet - the service at 6,506 miles should read 14/05/15 as per the Service History Certificate) ensuring that its highly conservative 22,000 miles have been enjoyed in fine mechanical health and the appearance and condition of the whole car reflect its fastidious upkeep, garaging and low mileage shared between just two diligent owners. Our guide price is truly attractive given all the factors – ability, rarity, history, condition, and sheer usability for what is arguably the world’s most approachable ‘supercar’.(The registration 'R8 XDT' will be coming with the car)SpecificationMake: AUDIModel: R8 GT SPYDERYear: 2013Chassis Number: WUAZZZ428CN910163Registration Number: R8 XDTTransmission: Semi-automaticEngine Number: CMPA001540 Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 22000 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: BlackClick here for more details and images

A lovely example of McLarens first mainstream 'Supercar', well maintained and beautifully presented.Having astonished the world with its debut supercar of 1992 - the iconic, Le Mans-winning F1 - McLaren re-established itself at the head of the exclusive '200mph' club with the MP4-12C. Publicly unveiled in September 2009, the mid-engined MP4-12C commenced manufacture at McLaren's new state-of-the-art factory at Woking in mid-2011, just after production of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren model had ceased. Its stylist was Frank Stephenson, who had been recruited from Alfa Romeo Centro Stile following spells with Ferrari and FIAT. Like its F1 and SLR predecessors, the MP4-12C used a carbon-fibre MonoCell body tub, albeit one that now took considerably less time to produce thanks to advances in composites manufacturing technology. This time the occupants' two seats were arranged conventionally side by side, unlike the F1's unusual three-abreast layout, which placed the driver in the centre, though the use of dihedral doors maintained a familial link with the F1.Presented here for auction is this beautiful McLaren MP4-12C delivered new to its first owner by McLaren Knightsbridge, London and first registered in March 2012. Finished in sparkling Ice Silver with black leather upholstery and matching black carpets, carbon roof and upgrades included electric memory seats, upgraded sound system and the latest RSR software for the II Iris information centre.Offered from a private collection of landmark collectable cars, this McLaren has been dry stored correctly and well maintained over the years with a comprehensive, mostly McLaren main agent service record. This spectacular example is offered with a history file which includes the original service book stamped up-to-date with the most recent maintenance carried out by McLaren prior to the sale. Also in the file is the original hand-book, supporting invoices, tracker paperwork, old MOTs with the most recent MOT showing 34,393 miles, no advisories and valid until June 22 and the current V5c ready for transfer.Innovative, attractive, rapid and fast becoming highly sought after, market commentators are tipping the model that marked the return of this legendary British manufacturers modern Supercar line-up to be a must have in any noteworthy classic car collection.SpecificationMake: MCLARENModel: MP4-12CYear: 2012Chassis Number: SBM11AACXCW000953Registration Number: WX12 JROEngine Number: 38JBAA111085 Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 35000 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: BlackClick here for more details and images

Finished in brilliant Bianco, this supremely elegant 3500GT Spyder is one of only 242 ever built. The 1950s had proved very successful for Maserati in both sports car and Grand Prix racing and in 1957 the Italian sports car manufacturer announced an exciting new road car called the 3500GT. The rakish new car was styled by Carrozzeria Touring of Milan and featured their new hallmark 'Superleggera' body construction which consisted of lightweight aluminium body panels supported underneath by thin steel tubing that followed the general shape of the car. The engine was a road-going version of the competition 300/350S motor, a double overhead-camshaft straight-six unit with two spark plugs per cylinder, fuelled by a set of triple side-draft Weber carburettors with Lucas fuel injection as an option later in the model's production. Many chose the fuel-injected engine when new but as the technology was in its infancy a great number of 3500 GT engines were converted retrospectively to Weber carburettors. Factory original Weber-engined cars are therefore very rare.Presented at the 1957 Geneva Motor Show, the 3500GT was an instant hit and it wasn't long before Maserati realised there could be a great demand for an open top version. Carrozerria Frua had built a Spyder prototype on an early 3500GT chassis in 1957 and Carrozzeria Touring constructed two open-top versions, however, it was Carrozzeria Vignale who were sanctioned to produce the car for Maserati in 1959. Interestingly the Spyder didn't feature Touring's 'Superleggera' construction but was built with a steel body with an aluminium bonnet and boot lid. The wheelbase was shortened and front disc brakes and a limited-slip differential were options in 1959 and became standard equipment from 1960 onward with rear brake discs introduced as standard equipment in 1962.According to its Certificate of Authenticity issued by the Maserati Classiche programme, AM101*1375* was delivered on 13 April 1962 to the Swiss Maserati agent in Chiasso, just over the Italian border. Official concessionaire Martinello & Sonvico had specified the car in a stylish and very period combination of Biancospino (white) with a Pelle Blu Connolly interior and a matching blue hardtop. Examination of the Certificate confirms that this lovely Spyder remains ‘matching numbers’ and still retains its correct S5.17 ZF five-speed gearbox and Borrani steel/alloy disc wheels. The car's first owner was a Mr E Kendrick of 64 Century House, London, who chose to have the expensive and exotic car registered in Geneva, not unusual in the days of currency controls and punitive UK Taxes. Records accompanying '1375' show it to have been sold for 50,000 French francs by M. A Mezzo of St Vaast, Normandy to Yannick Le Prevost of Saint-Omer - both French citizens - on 18th March 1982. On 27 April 2002, another Frenchman, M. Gerard Fasseux, purchased the Maserati from Le Prevost, now living in Arques, and he in turn sold it to an Italian enthusiast, Sig. Massara, some 18 months later. With his new acquisition now in Milan, he entrusted Modenese Maserati expert Franco Tralli with a €65,000 programme of thorough, but mild and sympathetic recommissioning. All bodywork matters were left to another recognised marque and model specialist, Mario Galbiati. Within the substantial history file, there is a quote for Sig. Massara from Auto Sport dated 7/11/03 to the value of €47,730 covering the bodywork (side members, internal side members, floor, rear cross member, boot interior and doors etc.) and the car fully prepared and painted in its original Biancospino. The intention was always to maintain the wonderful originality of '1375', avoiding a US-style restoration with new, out-of-character leathers and period incorrect paint finishes. The interior is still the original, almost impossible to replicate, Connolly blue hide and even the luggage compartment is in period condition. All necessary mechanical work was completed to such a level of detail that when the engine was stripped down it was found that the original pistons were in excellent order, so were retained, modern replacements being of an inferior standard. Various stickers (on the wheels, for example) are as applied in 1962. Purchased by our London-based vendor in 2015 and initially UK-registered as 169 UYN, it was exported to Germany in 2019 in order that he could enjoy it when he was on business in Munich. Although now registered in Germany, and enjoying free movement within the EU, '1375' will be present at the Sywell sale. Should the car remain in the UK low rate import duty of 5% will be payable on the successful purchase price.Used lightly and well maintained since its recommission, the car remains in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition and is one of the last 'unmolested' Vignale Spyders retaining that lovely 'original' feel. It's accompanied by an Owner's file which contains lots of early correspondence, bills of sale, German registration details, certificates, memberships, photographs of the 2003 recommission and a workshop manual. Naturally, most of this is in Italian. The Maserati Classiche report is not currently with the car.To conclude, therefore, we believe that the Maserati 3500 GT Spyder offers incredible value today against the car's in-period rival, the Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder, recent sales of which have topped $20,000,000. As one of the prettiest Maseratis ever produced, this car deserves serious consideration and we welcome any inspection.  SpecificationMake: MASERATIModel: 3500 GTI VIGNALE SPYDERYear: 1962Chassis Number: 1011375Registration Number: TO BE REGISTEREDTransmission: ManualEngine Number: 1011375Drive Side: Left-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 20090 KMMake: LHDInterior Colour: Pelle Blue LeatherClick here for more details and images

One of only 295 'Giallo Ferrari' Evo 1 Limited Editions with less than 17,000 miles from new. From the mid-1960s until the early 1990s, Lancia was a major force in international rallying, winning the ‘World Rally Championship for Makes’ no fewer than 11 times between 1972 and 1992, including a remarkable six successive victories commencing in 1987. During the same period, Lancia drivers won the European Rally Championship on 14 occasions and the World Drivers' Championship (only instigated in 1978) four times. Badged as the Delta HF 4WD on its introduction in 1986, the model retained the Volumex supercharger initially before switching to a straightforward turbo when transformed into the Integrale in 1987. The latter would prove a supremely capable rally car, winning the World Championship in both 1987 and 1988, yet in road trim remained a thoroughly practical family hatchback. Integrale performance was boosted further by the introduction of a 16-valve cylinder head for the 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine in 1989, maximum power increasing to 200bhp and top speed to around 220km/h.Homologated to maintain the works rally team's competitive edge, the first Evoluzione models were manufactured towards the end of 1991, incorporating wider front and rear track, appropriately altered bodywork, an engine re-mapped to produce 210bhp and a number of other detail improvements. The Evo 2 was essentially the same but came with a catalyst in the exhaust system, however, it’s the original Evoluzione that is nowadays generally recognised as having the closest connection to the original Group A cars and consequently is the more desirable of the two. With the Integrale's reputation firmly established, Lancia began offering a number of limited-edition variants, split pretty evenly between those that featured a non-standard colour and those that celebrated their rallying heritage. One of the rarest and most collectable was the 'Giallo Ferrari' of which only 295 were built. They were finished in Giallo Fly with a black leather interior and a number of small cosmetic differences. With an odometer reading 27,772km (16,605 miles) this delectable Integrale Evo 1 must surely be one of the lowest mileage Evo 1s on the market today. The meagre mileage can be partly explained by the fact that the Lancia appears to have been secreted away, unregistered, shortly after it was new and with only 75km on the clock for over 8 years before being discovered. We can only assume that a ‘canny’ Italian dealer felt sure that a rare, limited-edition Integrale with delivery miles only would be sure to appreciate in value and, in that, he was certainly correct. Our vendor purchased the Lancia in 2005 from Bill McGrath Maserati in Kimpton and was pleased to find that the car was accompanied by an impressive history file “ from month of manufacture to present day.” From Fiat Auto UK, there is a Declaration of Conformity, British National Type Approval and a Dating Letter confirming that the car was built in July 1992. It appears to have been first UK registered on 13/04/2000. There is a copy of Auto Italia Magazine from September 2000 which contains an article offering a guide to purchasing an Integrale which includes half a dozen photographs of this car looking immaculate and a caption stating “There are still a few new cars around, this one was bought in Italy recently with just 75km on the clock.” The history file also contains a Manual/Warranty for the Kenwood music system, a Sigma Alarm Installation Certificate, factory Owners Manual, a grand total of 21 MOT Certificates with a Gov.UK MOT History and a substantial amount of service and maintenance invoices, mainly from our diligent owner. In a note to us he explains "During my ownership the car has been regularly maintained and serviced regardless of the mileage which includes all belts and bearings changed every 3 years, the last one including a water pump. Tarox discs and pads are fitted. All suspension has been removed and powder-coated, anything that was found needing replacement was replaced - bushes and bump stops etc. The car has wanted for nothing and all maintenance carried out during the winter months by Lancia-trained technicians. Body underneath has been treated to Dinitrol protection and all inner cavities injected with Teroson HV350 Wax Oil purely for preservation. During this process, absolutely no corrosion was found in the car." In the winter we understand that it's stored on axle stands with the wheels off and kept warm and dry. It has just (mid-April) benefited from a full service with belts, recharged air-con and a fresh MOT. The Cherished Registration Number, C10 EVO, will remain with the car and both sets of keys are present.Cossetted and cherished since the day it arrived, it's only been used lightly in our vendor's ownership and, in more recent times, just for local car shows and Concours, with some success being a Scottish Italian Car Day Winner. This is a serious opportunity as low mileage, limited-edition Evo 1 Integrales with a full history and in this immaculate condition are very, very difficult to find. There is no reason why values of these rare cars won't continue to gently rise which is a win-win situation as, unlike a number of other 'blue chip' investment classics, these cars are just such incredible fun to drive. After nine seasons racing in Formula One, he left the sport to compete in the World Rally Championship in 2010 and 2011, returning to Formula One from 2012 onward.
