Luca Giordano, genannt „Luca fa Presto“, 1634 Neapel – 1705 ebenda CHRISTUS UND DIE EHEBRECHERIN Öl auf Leinwand. Doubliert. 182 x 230 cm. In schmaler moderner Holzleiste. (1301021) (3) (13)Luca Giordano, also known as “Luca fa Presto”,1634 Naples – 1705 ibid.CHRIST AND THE ADULTRESSOil on canvas. Relined.182 x 230 cm.A copy of the certificate of authenticity by Professor Oreste Ferrari from March 1998, Rome, is enclosed as is an expert's report by Maria Letizia Paoletti dated 25 February 1990. Both experts infer that this is an original by Luca Giordano which may have been created between 1660 and 1670.Paoletti compares the present depiction with a painting of “Christ among the Scholars” held in the collection of Conte Leonardo Viletti, the “Santa Lucia” held in the Museo di Capodimonte in Naples and a work titled “Christ and the Adulteress” held at the Museo di Reggio Calabria, which is similar to the present painting in many respects.Notes:A painting with the same composition after Luca Giordano is held at the Pio Monte della Misericordia church in Naples.

Storie die San Giovanni Battista, Cesena 2010., Kat.Nr. 29. (1320789) (2) (11)Giovanni Andrea de Ferrari,1598 Genoa – 1669 ibid.SAINT JOHN THE BAPTIST Oil on canvas.68.5 x 49 cm.Accompanied by an expert's report by Anna Orlando, Genova.Literature:The painting is discussed and illustrated in: Massimo Pulini, La Croce, la testa e il piatto, Storie di San Giovanni Battista, Cesena, 2010, cat. no. 29.

Bernardino Lanino, um 1509 Mortara – um 1583 VercelliBILDNIS EINES ARZTES Öl auf Leinwand. Doubliert. A.R.Provenienz: Ehemals Sammlung Dr. K.O. Reichel, 1979. Literatur: Vgl. Giovanni Bossetti, Della Vita e delle Opere di Bernardino Lanino, Pittore Vercellese, Vercelli 1871. Vgl. Bernard Berenson, Italian Pictures of the Renaissance. Central and North Italian School, Bd. III, London 1968 (dort Abb. des signierten Vergleichsbildes „Cassiano del Pozzo“). (1320141) (11))
