CHERISHED REGISTRATION "4 CAM" "4 CAM", the term synonymous with the high watermark of both Porsche and Ferrari engineering in the late 1950s and into the 1960s. The Porsche Four Cam engine was developed by legendary engineer Dr Ernst Fuhrmann as new engine for the Porsche 550 Spyder, with later, larger engines fitted to the Porsche 904 Carrera GTS. Meanwhile over at Ferrari the leading 275 road car was renamed in 1966 to reflect its new four cam engine. The 275 GTB/4 was the first ‘production’ Ferrari to be fitted with the four overhead camshaft version of the V12. This exciting and unique cherished is held by Dore & Rees on a DVLA V778 Retention Document, which expires November 2032.
FERRARI/PININFARINA/CONNOLLY LEATHER SAMPLE BOOK This is a rare a original Connolly Brothers leather sample booklet, as used to specify colour and grains for the leather interior of a number of early V12 Ferraris of the 1950s and 60s. This particular book was used by Maranello Concessionaires in the UK to specify final finishes for new customer vehicles of the late 1950s and 1960s.
1958 FERRARI 250 TESTAROSSA, 1:18 SCALE BY CMC MODELS With its beauty and performance, the Testa Rossa has captured the imagination of racing enthusiasts around the world to this day. The distinctive front styling became a trademark of his design, as were its fared-in front wings, designed to give the Testa Rossa’s front drum brakes better cooling. A total of 19 vehicles were delivered to private racing teams, and four more were built just for the Scuderia Ferrari. Comprised of over 1600 components, this is a fine hand-assembled scale model of one of Ferrari's finest racing efforts. - Hand assembled from 1,638 single parts - Exact replication of the cockpit. NIKI LAUDA - 1975 BRITISH GRAND PRIX BY RAY GOLDSBURGH This original gouache painting by Ray Goldsbrough depicts Niki Lauda racing in the rain at the 1975 British Grand Prix held at Silverstone. Niki Lauda was crowned World Champion in 1975 racing for Ferrari. The image is professionally framed as photographed with a protective UV art glass, the original artwork is complemented by an original Niki Lauda signature which has been inset into the mount. This piece is supplied with a COA issued by Ray Goldsbrough's exclusive publishers Chantry Fine Art. The image size of this piece is 30 x 40 cm with an external framed size of 67 x 56 cm.
1961 FERRARI 250 SWB, 1:18 SCALE MODEL BY CMC MODELS From the mid-50's to the early 60's, the 250 GT Berlinetta dominated GT racing. The short wheel base version was known as "passo corto" or "SWB". Between 1959 till 1962, some 165 cars were made of the short wheel base model.
