Starter Models - MPH Models - # 612 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model of a 1961 Ferrari TR 61 made by Starter Models and then extensively hand finished and detailed by Tim Dyke. There is a list of 102 detail changes and improvements made which include; no. 51 gear lever cut from stainless steel pin, no. 69 original kit spot lamps discarded and replaced with Meri lenses, no. 99 over sized windscreen wipers cut down and painted. The detail has to be seen to be appreciated if your eyes are good enough ! The car appears in Mint condition in the original Starter branded red and white box which is in excellent condition with a detailed list of work carried out, a printed history of the car and a signed card to show that this is number 17 of the run of 25 cars made in October 1991 and Starter, MPH Models, Tim Dyke - A boxed Starter / MPH Models #450 Ferrari 375MM Spyder Le Mans Winner 1954 F.Gonzales / M.Trintignant 2523.48 Miles at 105.14 mph. An elaborately detailed 1:43 Starter resin and alloy kit which was modified by Tim Dyke in August 1990, and is a Limited Edition model numbered 5 of only 25 produced, and comes with hand signed certificate / card. The model finished in the iconic 'rosso corsa' with RN4 has 52 detailed modifications / special features. These modifications include "Front wing air outlets - filled in and re-cut to correct proportions and position"; "Wheels - painted silver, laminated brake drums added"; "Exhaust - badly moulded tail pipes removed, new tail pipes made from aluminium tube" and much more. Many of the minute modifications are only visible under close examination. The model is marked to the underside 'Ferrari 375MM Starter Made in France 1/43 Maquette Goupille M.' and also features the MPH Models logo. Housed in a Very Good 'Starter' branded cardboard box with MPH branding, the model also contains documentation which outlines details of the actual car, as well a list of the unbelievable modifications made by Tim Dyke, along with a photo etched plaque contained in a clear plastic snap bag (This does not constitute a guarantee). MPH Models, Tim Dyke - A boxed MPH Models #1266 1:43 scale resin and alloy Ferrari TRi 330LM Le Mans Winner 1962 O.Gendebien / P.Hill 2765.58 miles at 115.24 mph. The model was created by the renowned modeler Tim Dyke in April 2000, and is a Limited Edition model numbered 21 of only 25 produced, and comes with hand signed certificate / card. hTe model in the traditional Ferrari 'rosso corso' appears in Mint condition with some dust / mildew around tyres, and features the RN6. With 251 detailed special features including "Headlamps - kit units discarded, body countersunk to accept lenses, MV lenses fitted"; "External mirror - moulded on unit removed, reshaped dowelled, lens recess carved in"; "MPH Etching for gear gate" plus many more fantastic details - some only visible under close scrutiny. The base of the model features details of the model with the MPH branding, and is housed in a plain white, Mint cardboard box with MPH Branding. The box contains ephemera relating to the modifications bestowed on the marvellous model plus details of the actual vehicles racing heritage, as well as a photo etched plaque contained in clear plastic snap bag. Bizzarri (1526-1585) was an Italian Protestant who travelled northern Europe before settling in England in 1549, in the entourage of Francis Russell (later earl of Bedford), until the accession of Mary caused him to return to the Continent. He returned after Mary’s death and dedicated his Erasmian treatise on the best prince to Elizabeth I (the presentation manuscript is in the British Library). After accompanying Russell to Berwick, he dedicated his tract on the horrors of war to Mary, Queen of Scots; most of his tracts and poems are dedicated to various European royals and nobles, in an endless search for patronage.
