Ulster Trophy Race autographs and period photographs, the signatures on pages clipped from an autograph book including Bob Gerard, Peter Whitehead, A Powys-Lybbe, all with period press cutting photos, also Geoffrey Crossley and another page of local drivers Bobbie Baird, S Durbridge, C Eyre Mansell, H Graham; together with four original b&w photographs of Guiseppe Farina-Alfa Romeo, Reg Parnell-Thinwall Special Ferrrari, Bob Gerard-E.R.A, Johnny Claes-Lago Talbot, each taken during the 1951 race, 4 by 5.5in, the first two with added hand colouring (8)The Ulster Trophy at Dundrod became a Formula 1 race in 1950, the winner being Peter Whitehead in a Ferrari who beat Bob Gerard's E.R.A., while A Powys-Lybbe won the Ulster Handicap in an Alfa Romeo P3. In 1951 Farina won the Ulster Trophy for Alfa Romeo and Bobbie Baird went on to win the 3-litre class in that year's Tourist Trophy over the same Dundrod course in his newly acquired Ferrari 212 sports car.
