H. 11x14.6 cm Paintings - Watercolours - Drawings - Prints & Maps Max Dissar, Né à Nice en1908, Max DISSAR a étudié l` Ecole nationale des arts décoratifs de cette ville, puis à l``Ecole des Beaux Arts de Paris. Il fut l`élève de Pierre BONNARD, Jean Gabriel DOMERGUE, Paul AUDRA, Maurice DENIS. PRIX de FRANCE en 1935, il emporta le concours du PRIX de ROME. Ami de VLAMINCK, il eut des contacts suivis avec Picasso, DALI et FOUJITA. En 1927 il peint, en Pologne, les fresques de Palais Barowoski puis, en 1935, en collaboration avec SEVERINI, diverses fresques religieuses à la a chapelle dominicaine du Sacré Cur de Lausanne. Ses autres oeuvres religieuses incluent des fresques pour l`église du Prado, à Marseillle en 1946, et trois grandes compositions en l`église Saint -Roch à Toulon (1948-1952). La peinture profane de l`artiste comprend des toiles et des aquarelles figurant dans de nombreuses collections privées et publiques d`Europe et des Etats- Unis. Diverses de ses uvres sont notamment consacrées aux paysages de Bretagnes et de Provence qui lui sont particulièrement chers. Mais Max DISSAR s`est tout spécialement attaché à la peinture de sc?s et de personnages du monde du cirque. De RUHM ?ROCK, de LITTLE TICH ?ASTELLI, ?OPOFF, aux CAVALLINI, aux FRATELLINI. Il a peint les plus grands clowns et ne se lasse pas de faire revivre sur ses toiles toute la riche vari? de ce monde ?a fois un peut triste et haut en couleur. En 1976 C` est lors d`une exposition ?en? que Max DISSAR rencontre Rita RIELLE, dipl?m?de l`Ecole des Beaux Arts de Lausanne et professeur d`arts plastics ?evey. Tr?vite une collaboration, une complicit?`installent, Ma?e Dissar et Rita Rielle, peignent et exposent ensemble. Ce fut Berne, Bâle, Lucerne, Boussens , Le Noirmont (Jura), Montreux en Suisse, et Librevillle Gabon, en 1982-1985, sans oublier, en France le ch?au de Lourmarain et le ch?au de la Napoule. Le Ma?e, avait trouv?e peintre à lui transmettre son savoir, son questionnement, sa technique et surtout sa grande expérience, son métier de Peintre. C`est à Juan les Pins, en France, chez lui, que Max DISSAR décède en mai 1993.
