Photobook.- Warhol (Andy) and Gerard Malanga. Screen Test / A Diary, first edition, 54 black and white photographs printed on translucent paper, occasional finger-marking, original colour pictorial wrappers, spine lightly discoloured and creased, little creasing at edges, a few scratches, 4to (259 x 190mm.), New York, Kulchur Press, 1967.⁂ A very good copy of this scarce work celebrating Warhol's film work. Each of the 54 sitters, including Edie Sedgwick, Salvador Dali, Lou Reed, Allen Ginsberg, Nico, and Donovan was asked to sit still in front of the camera for four minutes.
DALI SALVADOR: (1904-1989) Spanish Surrealist Painter. A good and attractive signed book, `Dali 1966´, a good bold and large dark blue ink signature, to the left side page opposite to the presentation page, bearing a small printed statement. The book being a hardback attractive edition of `Le Mythe Tragique de l´Angelus de Millet´, (“The Tragic Myth of Millet´s Angelus”) by Jean-Jacques Pauvert, original edition, 1963, published in France. The 105 pages book, also entitled `Critical Paranoid Interpretation of the Tragic Myth of Millet´s Angelus´, includes over thirty printed photographs, lightly and attractively affixed to the pages. To the front cover showing a typed label with the title and beneath a small reproduction of Millet´s famous painting L´Angelus. A good and unusual beige cloth binding with metal buckle and ribbon. Small staining to the cover, otherwise VG £400-600 Jean-Jacques Pauvert (1926-2014) French Publisher. Best known for publishing the works of the Marquis de Sade. The Angelus (1859) is an oil painting by Jean Francois Millet (1814-1875) French Painter.

Salvador Dali (Spanish,1904-1989) "Pegasus Bleu" Signed in color pencil lower right. E.A. lower left. Drypoint etching in blue ink. This etching by the Master Dali was print ed in 1973 at Ateliers Rigal in Paris where Dali made m any of his etchings. It shows Dali in his prime with the fine de tail he was known for. The etching is listed and picture d in "Salvador Dali, Catalogue Raissone of Prints I, Mixed Media Prints, 1924-1980, by Michler and Lopsinger, page 212, #589. Image Size: 10.25 x 8 in. Overall Size: 20 x 17 in. Framed behind glass.
DALI SALVADOR: (1904-1989) Spanish Surrealist Painter. Book signed and inscribed, a hardback edition of Dali's Mustache by Salvador Dali and Philippe Halsman, First Edition published by Simon and Schuster, New York, 1954. The book features 30 monochrome images of Dali (and his mustache, in typically surrealist poses) and represents a photographic interview between Dali and Halsman. Signed and inscribed by Dali to the front pastedown and across the front free endpaper in typically exuberant fashion, 'Pour Peter, Hommage de Dali', the artist adding various black circles to the conclusion and some of the intersections of the letters which form the inscription and further adding two original pen and ink drawings in his hand, the first of an ant and the second of two individuals, one a female, standing in full length poses alongside each other as they look upwards to observe a shooting star in the sky. Bound in the original publisher's glossy boards with a surrealist portrait of the one-eyed Dali to the front and a caption to the verso stating Warning! This book is preposterous. Some light overall age wear to the boards, most noticeable at the edges of the spine, otherwise about VG Ants are a recurring insect to appear in Dali's works and have been said to symbolise death, decay and immense sexual desire.
DALI SALVADOR: (1904-1989) Spanish Surrealist Painter. A fine book signed, twice, being a hardback edition of Dali - A Study of his Art-in-Jewels, edited by Lida Livingston and with a foreword by A. Hyatt Mayor and comments and captions by the artist, published by The New York Graphic Society, Greenwich, Connecticut, 1965. The book features 31 colour plate illustrations of jewels designed by Dali and which formed the collection of The Owen Cheatham Foundation. Signed ('Dali') by the artist in bold pencil with a typically large signature to the half title page and again signed ('Dali') in blue crayon with his name alone beneath his frontispiece portrait, the image being a close-up study of the artist by Philippe Halsman. Bound with a black cloth spine with gilt lettering and faux vellum boards featuring Dali's gilt stamped facsimile signature. Contained in the original colour illustrated slipcase.
