After Salvador Dali (Spanish, 1904-1989): a pair of limited edition prints Dali's series of Dante's Divine Comedy, Canto 23, The Triumph of Christ and The Virgin and Canto 27, The Last Words of Virgil, each numbered 4429 / 4765, and complete with certificates of Authenticity from the West End Gallery, Miami, Florida, numbered in pencil, lower left, 30 by 23, glazed and framed 54 by 46cm. (2) Notes: These limited edition prints are images from the one hundred and one in the series illustrating Dante's Divine Comedy that Dali realised between the years 1951 and 1964, commissioned to celebrate the seven hundredth anniversary of Dante's birth in 1965.
Salvador Dali (Spanish, 1909-1989), "Les Flechettes" and "Le Baiser de Feu", a pair of tiles designed by Salvador Dali for Maurice Duchin, 1954, each signed, mounted in frames, the tile 20 cm x 20 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both tiles are within wooden frames and are sealed at the back with masking tape and secured by large black folding staples. Both tiles are in good order with no obvious chips, cracks or restorations. You may see on the web images what appear to be white speckles within the darker colours these are not surface scratches but are in fact part of the decorations. Both tiles have a stencil mark on the reverse "1954 Maurice Duchin, All Rights Reserved". Both tiles have moulded marks "MPG A-Espana, Made in Spain".
