A Coral and Split Pearl Bangle, graduated alternating coral cabochon beads and split pearls in yellow claw settings, to a hinged trifurcated plain polished bangle, measures 4.9cm by 5.7cm see illustration . The bangle is in good condition, however it lacks a safety chain. It bears no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion it would test as gold. Gross weight 15.06 grams. CR made 18.09.19.
A Pearl and Diamond Bangle, circa 1900, the central three-quarter pearl with a collet set old cut diamond either side, to a row of graduated rose cut diamonds, on a tramline bangle, hinged to a tramline back, total estimated diamond weight 0.25 carat approximately, in a Hunt & Roskell box see illustration . The bangle is in good condition. It fastens with a tongue and box catch and features a safety chain. It bears no hallmark, nor stamps, but in our opinion it would test as gold. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I/J, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 13.9 grams. CR made 8th October 2019
An 18 Carat White Gold Diamond Set 'Love' Bangle, by Cartier, with screw-head effect and ten round brilliant cut diamonds inset around the bangle, total estimated diamond weight 1.00 carat approximately, measures 5.6cm by 4.6cm, with screwdriver and Cartier pouch see illustration . The bangle is in good condition. It has a screw to fit fastening. It is hallmarked with a St Bernard dog head with the letter B on it and the convention mark for 750 fineness and also stamped '750', in our opinion would test as gold. It is also stamped '1997', 'CARTIER', '750-17', 'AC6540'. Each diamond is approximately 0.10 carat. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour G/H/I, clarity SI1/I1/I2. With Cartier box. Gross weight 30.62 grams. CR made 18.09.19.
A Diamond Set Bangle, circa 1900, old cut diamonds set to form a flowerhead, which sits atop a tapering bangle, the facing section set with graduated old cut and rose cut diamonds, in white fronted claw settings, on a yellow mount, hinged to a knife edge polished back, total estimated diamond weight 1.00 carat approximately see illustration . The bangle is in good condition. It fastens with a tongue and box clasp and features two figure-of-eight safety catches, in opposing directions across the bangle catch. It bears no hallmark, nor stamps, but in our opinion it would test as silver and gold. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I/J, clarity SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 18.0 grams. A Jade Bangle, with bands at intervals, each band collet set with a cabochon gem stone, in a box from C&A Giuliano, 48 Knightsbridge, London see illustration. The bangle is in fair to good condition. It is unclear whether the bangle is original to the case. It is more oval than the circular support within the box. It is unmarked. The bangle has some damage to the jade in places. It fastens with a peg, and has a figure-of-eight security catch. Gross weight 75.3 grams. CR made 6th September 2019
A Sapphire and Diamond Bangle, circa 1880, six graduated oval cut sapphires alternate with seven old cut diamonds, in yellow claw settings on a triple row hinged bangle, total estimated diamond weight 2.90 carat approximately see illustration . The bangle was valued for insurance purposes in 1999 at $18,500 (AUD). The bangle is in good condition. It fastens with a tongue and box catch. It has loops to which a safety chain could be fitted. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I/J, clarity SI1/SI2/I1/I2. Gross weight 24.8 grams. CR made 16th August 2019
A Victorian Bangle, a row of split pearls within a beaded border, hinged to a plain polished back, measures 4.8cm by 5.6cm see illustration . The bangle is in good condition, however the safety chain is lacking. It fastens with a tongue and box catch. It bears no hallmark but is stamped 'M&P' and in opinion would test as gold. Gross weight 44.97 grams. CR made 16.09.19.
