An amethyst and half pearl bangle, of hinged hollow oval form, the tapered frontispiece with a circular mixed-cut amethyst and half pearl cluster, framed by foliate and bead accents, stamped '9CT', (two half pearls deficient), inner diameter 5.8cmGeneral surface wear to bangle mount, with scattered dings and creases to the bangle and patchy wear to the tips of the claw setting. The frontispiece is slightly mis-shapen and there are two fine splits to one side, with a small pit/hole to one of the beads. The clasp is currently functioning. Two half pearls are missing.
