Late Victorian opal, ruby and diamond hinged bangle, the wide graduated gold bangle with six stylized flower head clusters, each with a central oval mixed cut ruby surrounded by four opal cabochon petals, each flower interspaced by old cut diamonds, all in 18ct gold settingCondition report: Very good condition commensurate with age. The largest ruby measures approximately 5mm x 3.6mm x 2.8mm, the flowers graduate slightly, the largest measuring approximately 11mm x 9.5mm. The widest point of the bangle at the top measures approximately 9.6mm. The stones are all in good condition commensurate with age and wear, the is only one opal which has a small chip, any replacement stones are unknown. The is a possible repair to the underneath of the setting where a small gold baton has been applied. Minor dents to the lower section of the bangle. Clasp works well. No hallmarks but tests as approximately 18ct gold. The internal circumference of the bangle measures approximately 175mm. Gross weight approximately 22.26 grams
