A Victorian double heart moonstone and seed pearl bangle, with two cabochon moonstone hearts in overlapping borders of seed pearls, between flower and stem appliqués on the twin bars of the bangle, hinged with snap clasp and safety chain, tested as approximately 14ct gold. Internal width 56mm. 12.82g Condition ReportThe moonstones have only very slight surface scratches; one seed pearl has a small chip. The gold is bright; the hinge, clasp and safety chain in good working order.

Tested as 18ct gold. Length of central feature 39mm, internal maximum width 156mm. 49.25gCondition ReportGood condition for age. The lapis and pearls are all in situ and appear secure. The gold is weighty, has minor scuffs, overall bright, though light tarnish on the inside of the bangle, where there are remnants of black ink stock numbers. The clasp is firm and crisp. There is very slight play on the hinges of both bangle and locket.

Bangle inner diameter 41mm x 56mm. 16.67gCondition ReportThe sapphire has a deep bluish green colour almost teal, and it's finely cut.The estimated carat weight is approximately 3.00ctMinor wear to the facet junctions of the gem, commensurate with its age.Straight colour banding is noticeable to the naked eye, confirming the natural origin of the gemstone.Diamonds are well matched, bright and lively.
