Monte-Carlo"; there is some minor surface scratching and a few nicks; the purchase receipt (La Grande Motte, 1998) gives the weight of gold as 34.70g; the item does not appear to be hallmarked.

Victorian pearl and diamond bangle with a row of thirteen graduated half pearls, set with rose cut diamonds to the claws, in pierced gold setting, on plain polished yellow metal hinged bangle (pearls untested for natural origin) CONDITION REPORT Pearls have not been tested for natural origin and therefore may be cultured. Largest pearl measures 5.3mm diameter x 2.6mm deep. Smallest measures approximately 4.5mm diameter x 2.2mm deep. Two pearls have faint hairline cracks. All have a good lustre with pink, blue and green tones. Three small rose cut diamonds are missing. No hallmarks but appears to be high carat gold. Hinge and clasp work well. No dents or repairs. Total gross weight 21.8 grams
Victorian enamel and banded agate mourning brooch with central oval banded agate panel within an interwoven gold and black enamel ropetwist border, with glazed locket compartment to reverse with inscription dated 1892, in original fitted box and a Victorian gold and black enamel mourning bangle (2) CONDITION REPORT Brooch - very good quality. Good condition. Agate perfect. No obvious damage to the enamel, although when viewed with a 10x loupe, there appear to be shallow slither chips that possibly have been coloured in. Minor dents and abrasions commensurate with age. Original box. Brooch weight 23.5 grams. 45mm x 35mm. Bangle - very good condition. Inside stamped 9ct. Total gross weight 12.8 grams
