An Edwardian 9ct gold ruby and diamond set hinged bangle, designed as three mixed cut rubies and two rose cut diamonds set to a rectangular panel with scrolling beaded border, continuing to a reeded hinged bangle, tongue and box snap clasp fastening, marks for 'E.E.P & Co', Birmingham 1902, interior measuring 6cm x 4.9cm, weight 7.6gms (at fault)CR; All stones show some small chips, nibbling and general scratching and wear commensurate with age and use, however all are present and in good order. Central panel in good order, beaded detail in good order. The top half of the bangle are in good order, however there is extensive denting and splitting on the bottom half of the bangle (see pictures). The safety chain has breaks in two places, one repaired by solder, the other repaired by thread (see pictures). Clasp in working order, opening with ease and closing with a snap, but does not sit flush.
