An Ethiopian high carat gold elephant hair hinged bangle,gifted by Haile Selassie. A flat section hinged bangle with a central six row plaited twisted gold and elephant hair section, with pairs of plain bands to each side with twisted elephant hair running between. An applied monogram with a crown above to a concealed box clasp. Tested as approximately 20/21ct gold. A cultured freshwater pearl hinged bangle, with a raised cultured freshwater pearl to the centre, a centrepiece composed of two conjoined hoops with fully drilled cultured freshwater pearls, wired to the tops of the settings. Rows of flattened wires between with rows of matching freshwater pearls to each side. A three row flat wire lower half with an applied flower to each side and a split pin clasp. A Russian enamel and seed pearl gold hinged bangle, c.1848,a flat section hollow bangle, 10.70mm wide, with applied ivy leaves, with green guilloche enamel decoration, between clusters of seed pearls, peg set to vines forming the grapes to an engraved and bloomed decoration, damaged. A concealed box clasp with a safety chain fitted. Hand engraved to the interior in script 'Vendredi Septembre 1848'. Russian Zolotnik mark for 560 standard. Marks for St Petersburg. A late Victorian almandine garnet and diamond hinged bangle,with seven graduated octagonal step cut garnets, all claw set. Pairs of cushion shaped old eight cut diamonds, set between and at each end, to a pierced leaf carved head style setting, to three rows of blade edge bars. Tapering to the lower half with a concealed box clasp. 13mm wide, 55mm x 50mm interior dimensions. A Continental style diamond set hinged bangle, c.1890,with a diamond set central pavel. A row of nine graduated old European cut diamonds, all claw set to a boat shaped frame, with pairs of rose cut diamonds between. A border of old Swiss cut and old eight cut diamonds, all claw set in silver to a pierced gold gallery. Trifurcated blade edge bar style shoulders to a matching tapered bangle, with double hinge and a concealed box clasp and safety chain. Top 15mm wide, interior dimensions 58mm x 45mm. An Edwardian gold sapphire and pearl bangle,with an oval mixed cut sapphire, to a surround of pearls, all claw set. The central cluster with a row of alternating oval mixed cut sapphires and pairs of pearls at each side, to a plain two row wire lower half, with concealed box clasp and safety chain. Tested as approximately 15ct gold. Head 12.30mm x 10.40mm, 13.98gCondition ReportOne later replacement sapphire.Light surface marks, mostly lower half.Slight distortion to the blade edge bars.
19th century gold and diamond hinged cuff bangle, the wide pierced band with an applied cluster of rose cut diamonds. Austrian-Hungarian import hallmarks, possibly Zagreb (Croatia). The inside circumference is approximately 17cm. The width is approximately 4cm. The central rose cut diamond measures approximately 7.5-8.5mm, the depth cannot be measured but seems very shallow. Two small rose cut diamonds are missing. There also appears to be something missing from the sides of the cluster. Hinge and clasp work well. Wear commensurate with age. Austrian-Hungarian import hallmarks, possibly Zagreb (Croatia), uncertain of the carat. Weighs approximately 71.1 grams.
