The hinge and clasp work well. Not hallmarked but probably 9ct or 15ct gold. The lettering measures approximately 10mm x 400mm. Very difficult to tell whether or not there has been a repair near the lugs or whether it is within the manufacture. Gross weight approximately 13.4 grams
