A Jaguar XK8 1999 model convertible, left hand driveThis is a very good example of a fast appreciating useable classic car that will increase in value and can be considered as an investment, due to its very low mileage (45,000 miles). The Jag was purchased new by its first English owner in Nov 1999 from the Jaguar Dealer in Phoenix Arizona USA, when the owner returned to the UK in 2008 the car was dried stored for just over eight years then unfortunately the first owner died and the car was sold by his executors in 2016 to “Swallow Jaguar Specialists” in Somerset. They then re-commissioned the car by way of replacing all 5 tyres as the original ones had started to crack and perish, they replaced all the brake discs and pads along with all new belts and pipes again due to these being perished over time. They also replaced both the timing chain and the tensioners to the new upgraded version so all in all well over £2000 was spent bring the car back to life.As Arizona is a “Desert” State the Jaguar has NO RUST or corrosion and it has been completely wax oiled both on the outside and inside of all the panels and chassis, with a re-waxing every year before the winter months, at no time has the Jaguar been driven on the (salty) roads during the winter months as it has spent the last two winters in a heated garage by its second only owner who has now decided to sell this beautiful example. A new windscreen was fitted last month when the new MOT was issued as it had stone chip in the drivers vision. The Jaguar comes with one key a full book pack and service book, the customs and excise forms showing that all duties have been paid both the American and UK Registration Documents along with the USA Certificate of Conformity from Jaguar UK. The car is fully registered in the UK to the second owner and vendor with a V5 Document in his name. The private registration number S11LHD stays on the car. The Jaguar is being sold with No Mechanical Faults.
