It was restored over the following year and has been used sparingly ever since, being shown at classic car events and shows local to the King's Lynn area. Having been kept in a garage, it is now being sold to make way for a new project. Panels replaced during the restoration include the front panel, front wings, rear valance, nearside and offside sills, nearside and offside subframe mounting panels, offside doorstep, windscreen corner panel, inner wing repair panel, offside and nearside front floor panels and offside rear arch repair panel. The rear subframe was also replaced and the car, previously blue, was resprayed in British Leyland Fiesta Yellow two-pack paint. A new headlining and matching dash panels have been fitted. Upgrades include wheel arch extensions, Italian Job alloy wheels, inch and three quarter exhaust with long centre branch, Min-its water-heated manifold, Mini Super dash with water and oil pressure gauges, interior from 1986 Mini Mayfair and period glass sunroof. Recent work has included two new tyres. The car has is reported as running and driving well, and was driven to the site. The 998cc Mini was registered in June 1982 and is now showing 53,180 miles on its odometer. Its MoT is valid until July 2025 even though, as an historic vehicle, it no longer requires annual testing. Paperwork includes the V5C, invoices for parts used during the restoration, photos of the car before and after restoration and some show plaques.

It's also had a new windscreen, front springs, rear suspension unit, petrol tank, starter motor, battery, tow bar and electrics, front brake pads and calipers, and rear tyres plus Land Rover mirrors fitted. The engine is a remanufactured Vege unit. The Volkswagen was registered in November 1984 and is showing 22,852 miles on its odometer. Five registered keepers are recorded on the V5C and the MoT is valid until October 2025. The vendor reports that the T25 drives well with no known issues, having been used for holidays in the UK and France.
