A BOXED PELHAM PUPPET THEATRE, contents not checked but appears largely complete and in fairly good condition and complete with instruction leaflet, with three boxed Pelham Puppets, SL3 Fairy, SM10 Pirate and SS6 Clown, all appear complete and in good condition in correct yellow lidded boxes, which are in fairly good condition with only minor damage, marking (including writing) and wear and an unboxed Pelham SL63 Giant puppet , in very good condition but requires untangling

JIMI HENDRIX - BAND OF GYPSYS LP (ORIGINAL UK COPY - TRACK 2406 002). Brilliant condition original UK copy of the 1970 LP from Jimi Hendrix featuring the controversial puppet design sleeve. The record (Track 2406 002) is in top Ex+ condition showing only a couple of extremely faint, slight and wispy paper marks and some minor spindle marks. The sleeve is in VG+ condition showing some minor creasing on the front.

Central Asia.- Burnes (Lt.-Col. Sir Alexander) Cabool: being a Personal Narrative of a Journey to, and Residence in that City in the years 1836, 7, and 8, first edition, engraved portrait, 11 plates, most lithographed, 2 folding, 7 tinted, 1 plate trimmed and laid down, 1 plate bound upside down, erratum f. at end, lacking publisher's catalogue, some light offsetting, "People's Library, Newport, R.I." ink stamp to title and head of 1 or 2 other pp., modern half calf, gilt, spine gilt with red and green morocco labels, light fading to spine, 8vo, 1842⁂ In 1836 Burnes was sent on a political mission to Dost Mohammed in Kabul and as a result advised the British to support Dost Mohammed's claim to the throne. The British instead reinstated the puppet ruler Shah Shuja which angered Dost Mohammed and caused him to turn to the Russians. Burnes returned to Kabul as political agent in 1839 and was murdered there by an Afghan mob in 1841, leading to the disastrous First Afghan War.
