Original vintage travel poster issued by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines - Fly KLM to all Europe. The poster features a colourful and fun illustration by Emile Brumsteede (Mile; 1911-1962) of people representing European nations on a merry-go-round carousel roundabout swing with planes as seats and a world globe with the crown winged KLM logo at the top. Shows two Greek guards in traditional outfits with a rifle over their shoulders, a man in Turkish traditional costume, a couple of Swiss climbers with backpack and water flask, an Austrian lady pouring beer into a German gentleman's cup, a French cancan dancer with a gendarme policeman, Dutch couple in yellow clogs holding tulips with a windmill propeller attached to the plane, Belgian guard in uniform with a yellow puppet, British Royal guard in a tall bearskin cap and a Scotsman playing bagpipes, three Irish ladies in long cloaks holding three leaf clovers, three Scandinavian countries together with a Swedish gentleman, Danish lady, and a Norway guard, a man fishing dressed in a traditional Portuguese outfit, a bull holding the flag of Spain and a bullfighter, an Italian man singing and playing guitar. Pelham Puppet - three puppets comprising a painted wooden duck with felt mouth and wings with metal joints H12cm, in original box and instructions; and two further examples Type A cat with a hollow body H12cm, and a boy H23cm (3) Condition Report:Puppets appear to be in a fair condition. Some scratches, stains and scuffs to the paintwork and bodies on all the puppets. Cat is missing its original red bow and has a green one instead. Duck is missing its felt tongue and tail.

SUPER MARIO BROS. (1993) - Cable-Controlled Animatronic Yoshi Puppet Armature - A cable-controlled animatronic Yoshi puppet armature from Rocky Morton and Annabel Jankel's Super Mario Bros. Princess Daisy (Samantha Mathis) befriended Yoshi, the royal family's pet, after she was taken captive by President Koopa (Dennis Hopper).Engineered by Dave Nelson, this full-size animatronic puppet's body and underskull are made of a metal armature with clear plastic sheets to give the muscle-like shape under the skin, acrylic eyes and teeth, and internal metal cables, as well as rubber and plastic tubing. JURASSIC PARK (1993) - Production-Made Baby Velociraptor Puppet and Egg - A production-made baby velociraptor puppet and egg from Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park. While on a simulation tour of the Jurassic Park labs, Dr. Allen Grant (Sam Neill) and his acquaintances saw Dr. John Hammond's (Richard Attenborough) latest discovery of recreating Jurassic life as they witnessed a baby velociraptor hatch from its egg. Created by key artist Rob Hinderstein from Stan Winston Studios, this velociraptor puppet is made of a gray and yellow painted resin egg with a black foam backing featuring high-gloss, light brown painted sculpted resin with Hinderstein's icon Jurassic eyes detailed with lifelike yellow and brown latticework veins and coated in a red crystalline material. The egg is mounted to a textured, gray-painted 3D printed resin base covered in artificial moss, leaves, and broken resin egg shells with a clear acrylic rod inserted in the underside. GREMLINS 2: THE NEW BATCH (1990) - Mechanical Gremlin Skeleton Legs - A pair of mechanical Gremlin skeleton legs from Joe Dante's Gremlins 2: The New Batch. These skeleton legs were made for the sequence where all the Gremlins were electrocuted.The legs are constructed of resin bones with various green and brown paint stains. The puppet features numerous mechanical cables leading to a puppetry control that allowed puppeteers to control the movements of the legs. Many of the mechanical cables have been cut or removed, though two still feed all the way to the control and serve to clench the toes. Tubes that would have dripped goo out of the bones to accentuate the melting effect are also present. The legs exhibit signs of wear from age and use. JUMANJI (1995) - Lightweight Gameboard Faceplate - A lightweight gameboard faceplate from Joe Johnston's Jumanji. Alan Parrish (Robin Williams), Sarah Whittle (Bonnie Hunt), Judy Shepherd (Kirsten Dunst), and Peter Shepherd (Bradley Pierce) played a mysterious but dangerous magic game called Jumanji which featured a distinctive faceplate.Created for the scene where a pelican picked up the game board, the board was made of thin lightweight material to be supported by the pelican puppet. This fiberglass faceplate features the word "Jumanji" in front of a scenic background including volcanoes, Acacia trees, shrubbery, and characters from the game and film, including a monkey, a rhinoceros, an elephant, and big game hunter Van Pelt (Jonathan Hyde) on the corners. The faceplate is hand-painted red, green, and brown on top of a beige base and intentionally distressed by production to appear aged and worn. This lot exhibits chipped fiberglass along the elephant's trunk and the monkey's head. MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000: THE MOVIE (1996) - Tom Servo (Kevin Murphy) Puppet - A Tom Servo (Kevin Murphy) puppet from Jim Mallon's Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie. The robots Crow T. Robot (Trace Beaulieu) and Tom Servo kept Mike Nelson (Michael J. Nelson) company while he was trapped aboard the Satellite of Love and forced to watch the film This Island Earth.Created by Joel Hodgson from assorted materials, and most recognized for his carousel snack dispenser head, this Tom Servo puppet is comprised primarily of plastic with white plastic shoulders, a barrel body with a toy car engine affixed to the front, and a large white plastic bowl for a hover skirt with black vacuum-formed plastic accents and gray foam lining at the bottom. The arms are molded metal and have coiled springs which allow them movement. This puppet was painted predominately in red, with silver-color accents and white arms. Beneath the skirt is a PVC control rod that moves the head from side to side. The interior features a handwritten "4" in graphite This lot exhibits some discoloration, scuffing, notable adhesive, and loose components. MEN IN BLACK II (2002) - Split Worm Guy Puppet - A split worm guy puppet from Barry Sonnenfeld's Men in Black II. The worm guys were violently halved when Serleena's (Lara Flynn Boyle) forces raided their apartment to capture Laura Vasquez (Rosario Dawson), but this was not fatal, as their species could just pull themselves right back together.Originating from Rick Baker's Cinovation Studios, this lot consists of two separate puppet pieces that together constitute one worm alien. The components feature resin and metal bodies covered in a foam latex skin painted in various shades of tan and brown to match the other puppets created for the characters. Both pieces feature a wire coil to control different movements. The puppet exhibits missing skin in several areas, most notably around the right arm of the torso puppet. Areas under the right eye, hands, and legs also exhibit signs of wear, including tearing in the foam latex.
