A Mid/Late 20th Century Bozo Antelope Mask from Mali. The coming forth of masks and puppets is a ritual festivity practised among the Bambara, Bozo, Marka and Somono communities in Markala and is characterised by masked dances, drums and songs featuring dancers and puppeteers. Each mask and puppet symbolizes the sacred link between man and nature, with particular animals incarnating specific virtues of society. The piece is made of wood with some retained pigment, it measures approx. 48 ins (122 cm) tall, 8 ins (20 cm) wide and 16 ins (41 cm) deep.
A Hornby Dublo Electric Train set, boxed, together with various other accessories, rolling stock, signal, bridges, etc, together with a Dinky Supertoys 971 Coals Mobile Crane, boxed and a Pelham puppet sailor CONDITION REPORTS Pelham puppet - sailor's hat is off and moth eaten and trim is coming apart, there is chipping to paintwork, box is worn. The dinky toy 971 crane - box is worn and has a hole at one end, the toy is playworn and string is broken. The electric train set - the box is in a distressed state, the coaches have scuffs and scrapes, the locomotive has been use and there is paint loss along buffers and outside edges, there appears to be a spare pair of wheels. All other items are playworn and those with boxes are worn, missing flaps, etc

Rev: REX PARTHIS DATVS legend with Trajan seated left on platform with officer behind, placing diadem on head of king Parthamaspates standing before, with Parthia kneeling in supplication left; S C in exergue Sear 3191; RIC 667; BMC 1046. The reverse depicts the crowning of the puppet king Parthamaspates of Parthia in 116 AD. 21.11 grams. Extremely fine; some tooling.
VINTAGE TOYS - a mixed collection of vintage toys to include a Sooty hand puppet, a Magic Etch a Sketch, a Viewmaster with Top Cat and Wild Animals of the World pictures, five figures of a hand painted pottery Golly band, a toy zither, Dover Patrol game, a wooden painted walking penguin and 7 teddy bears including a rudimentary wool scrap doll.
A 1930's Art Deco table lamp by Molins, France, a semi-clad female dancer holding a Pierrot puppet on globular frosted glass shade on a square metalware base, signed (57cm). Condition Report: In good general condition - the whole piece could do with a good clean. Tarnishing to the metalware in places. No cracks to the globe.
A Japanese wooden puppet, with mechanical eyes and mouth, 53.5 cm high Condition report Report by GH Total height is approx. 54 cm. Condition generally good with some age related loss and chips to paint. Articulated hands, legs, eyes and mouth all appear to be working as they should, with no obvious damage or repairs. Fabric generally reasonable with some very minor wear and stretching/loss to stitching. Some strings have probably been replaced over time. Overall presents well in good honest condition, with no major defects.
A CHAD VALLEY MAN FRIDAY PLUSH DOLL, c.1930's, height approximately 25cm, plastic eyes, painted features, complete with grass skirt, some minor wear and damage, Chad Valley Hygenic Toys label to right foot and 'I am Friday Theatre Royal Birmingham' label to chest, Dolls were thrown out from the stage into the audience as presents during a production of 'Robinson Crusoe' with a boxed Pedigree Thunderbirds Supermarionette Scott Tracy puppet (box s.d.)
