A gilt brass and iron fire grate in George III style, early 20th century, with rectangular backplate, a serpentine fronted three bar body and floral openwork apron, supported by two square section gilt legs incised with floral motifs, the four urn finials incised with garlands and engine milling style decoration, 77 cm high, 82 cm wide
A Gothic style cast iron fire grate, the scroll back decorated with a Bagot goat jumping a fence, above a railed front, with turned finials, 74cm high, 64cm wide, 28cm deep. The Bagot goat is believed to be Britain's oldest breed of goat and has lived semi-wild at Blithfield Hall in Staffordshire for over six hundred years. Provenance: Lady Bagot, Blithfield Hall. W.63cm
