A Georgian iron fire basket, with urn shaped finials and scroll end supports, height 51cm, width 64cm, depth 31cm.Condition report: The grate is useable. There is considerable rust, so cosmetically the metal will still be pitted if cleaned. The last four images show the brackets that support the floor of the grate. This is currently secure but two brackets are more degraded than the others. These are probably the only real areas of concern and may need attention if the grate is put into regular use.
