A painted ceramic Elephant jardiniere with indistinct stamp to base. Overall dimensions 50x53x36cm approx.Internal diameter of planter 26cm. Good condition, apart from some surface marks and crazing. Small chip to toenail on hind left leg and another to rear of blanket on sane size. Surface paint loss to ear.
A Chinese famille rose porcelain rectangular planter, mark of Qianlong but 20th century, the sides painted with a continuous figural scene, iron red four-character mark to base, length 24cm, with wood stand, together with a Japanese Satsuma earthenware bottle vase by Kinkozan, Meiji period, painted and gilt with butterflies and blossoming branches, brown painted four-character signature to base, height 39cm (repaired).
