A Japanese Meiji period late 19th / early 20th century polished bronze mythological planter / handled pot. The planter having twin elephant shaped handles surrounded by four vignettes depicting the Japanese mythical animals. The scenes depicting Ryu: the dragon, the fox, The Hōō: the phoenix, and the turtle. Raised on a decorated circular foot. Measures approx. 25cm tall x 38cm x 29cm.

A late 19th Century copper coal bucket, engraved with a stylised flower design and measuring 25cm high, and a pair of small flared and footed copper vasesCondition report - Some dings to the rim of the planter and both vases. Otherwise they all appear to be in generally good order. Photos of bases included and patterns. The pattern is worn and faded on the smaller vases.
