A LARGE MEASHAM POTTERY BARGEWARE TEAPOT, decorated in traditional design having typical moulded floral motifs on a brown mottled ground, inscribed 'To Harold & Ada Hills Aug 3rd 1914', height approx. 30.5cm, together with a set of Bretby Pottery vases and planter, decorated with gilt edged pink and amethyst tree blossom and birds on a black ground, the planter has three feet impressed marks to base 2612T, a pair of vases impressed marks 1893E, with a gilt signature on one vase A.P (this vase is chipped on the top edge), height 23.5cm, and a smaller conical shaped vase with splayed rim, impressed on the base 929B, height 19cm (5) (Condition Report: the teapot lid is chipped and damaged, planter has some pitting and marks to the exterior)

Of rectangular form decorated with coastal scenes in cartouches on a floral scroll ground, under blue enamel bands of ruyi and key fret at the rim. Approx. 17cm wide. (4) Provenance: Property of a Sussex gentleman Condition: One stand restuck in two sections with crack and chip to corner. Small filled in chip to rim of one planter. Other planter and stand in good condition.

Some enamel loss in places to decoration to larger planter. Larger dish with two hairlines. Small dish with 1.5cm hairline at rim.
