A 19th Century carved giltwood and gesso framed wall mirror with musical instrument decorated surmount, 74 cm x 112.5 cm CONDITION REPORTS A few spots to the mirror plate which is possibly a later replacement, the frame has some splits and cracks and some chips and losses, and a few areas of repair and touch-up paint, and appears to have had some re-gilding, but overall appears in reasonably good order.
A 19th Century carved giltwood and gesso mantel mirror in the Chinese Chippendale taste with pagoda top over a multi-plate mirror within scrolling foliate frame, 142 cm x 90 cm CONDITION REPORTS Overall with various cracks, losses and repairs, including section missing bottom left, various re-modelled and re-painted sections - please see photos for examples, various touch-up paint and chips, etc., mirror and plate(s) appears to be replacement, re-modelled sections include some large areas of foliage to lower right side, repairs to uprights, etc., overall quite a lot of repairs and re-modelling throughout.
