1997 Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo Make: Fiat Model: Coupe 20V TurboYear: 1997Mileage: 56868VIN: ZFA175000P0047508Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: R937KRCTransmission: manualFiat's Coupe model, running from 1994 to 2000, was one of the more visually striking mainstream automotive designs of the late 20th century, with the exterior done by Chris Bangle of Centro Stile Fiat and the interior by Pininfarina. This 1997 20v Turbo was registered in October of that year, and shows just four keepers in total, with 56,868 miles recorded. The colour combination, of Metallic Green with a tan leather interior, is an especially striking one. Included in the history folder are the current V5C plus a previous one, MoTs back to 2001 (which help confirm the low mileage) as well as the current certificate valid to March 2022. There are various invoices dating back to the start of the 21st century. These jobs include a new cambelt, alternator and ABS pump in 2017 at 51,168 miles and a clutch during the same year at 56,115 miles. The service booklet is stamped up to 2007, after which there's paper documentation up to May 2017. There's also a selection of photos of the vehicle, plus various articles, parts lists and information sheets relating to the coupe. A spare key is included. Aside from some paintwork blemishes, including a few scratches, alloy corrosion on the door mirror mountings, and some cracked paint by the side of the nearside rear window, this Fiat Coupe is in good order. The attractive interior is particularly nicely preserved. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 27TH OCTOBER BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
1998 Ford Scorpio Ultima 24V Auto EstateMake: Ford Model: Scorpio Ultima 24V Estate Year: 1998Mileage: 168074VIN: WF0NXXGAGNWY11249Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: R162PRETransmission: automatic In 24-valve Ultima form, this Scorpio was at the top of Ford's executive tree in 1998. The Ultima trim level was the highest one available, with a CD autochanger, climate control, leather seats, walnut veneer dash, cruise control, an automatically dimming mirror and electrically-operated seats as well as a variety of other enhancements over lesser models. The top-of-the-range Cosworth V6 engine gave 207bhp. With most of these flagship models being saloons, estates were comparatively rare. Rather fittingly, given that the Scorpio Ultima 24V could probably be regarded as the Rolls-Royce of Ford's line-up, this 1998 example was initially sold to Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Crewe. The V5C is present, showing six former owners. Also in the paperwork file is the original document folder with owner's manual, engine immobilisation guide, audio instructions and service booklet, showing 14 stamps up to March 2011, at 123,358 miles. The MoT is valid until April 2022, and the certificate is included. There are past test certificates from 2016, 2017 and 2019. A check on the online MoT history for this Ford confirms the current recorded mileage of 168,075, in conjunction with the service history. A stack of invoices covers work done to the car up to 2016, including an automatic gearbox rebuild during that year at a cost of £2346 and a new radiator in 2016, at a cost of £387.60. A new battery was fitted in January 2019. The vendor describes the car as 'driving lovely and used daily', and it presents well, inside and out, in its smart metallic maroon shade. Some spares are included.
1997 Volvo 940 Celebration EstateMake: Volvo Model: 940 Celebration Year: 1997Mileage: 81565VIN: YV1945811W1229537Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: R790PNNTransmission: manualThe 940 Celebration was a last-of-the-line model built to mark the passing of Volvo's traditional rear-wheel drive big four-cylinder estates, as the marque switched to front-wheel drive. Only available in estate form and with a host of extra equipment, it cost a hefty £18,425 on the road. Powered by the 2.3-litre light pressure turbo engine, the spec featured metallic paint, colour co-ordinated bumpers, sports grille, roof rails and 15-inch alloy wheels. Inside, there was half-leather upholstery, wood trim, air conditioning, front and rear electric windows, leather steering wheel, RDS radio cassette player, headlamp wash/wipers, ABS brakes, electrically-heated front seats and adjustable door mirrors. This example, in Blackberry Metallic with black cloth/grey leather interior, was registered in November 1997. Its odometer shows 81,565 miles (which is largely confirmed by the available history), and it has had three former keepers. Its MoT has only recently expired, in October of this year. Aside from the current V5C, the paperwork includes the original Volvo booklet wallet, with owner's manual, service book (stamped up 76,102 miles in 2014) and dealer network guide. The selection of invoices date from the middle of the first decade of the 21st century, as do the pair of MoT certificates. The Volvo's interior is in very good order; with little wear to the seats, nice wood, and no lifting of the vinyl covering on the door cappings (which often affects 900-series cars). Ripspeed tread plates are fitted in the door apertures, The exterior displays stone chips on the bonnet, and there are also areas of wear and flatness in the paint. Corrosion is evident on the nearside door mirror base and offside front wheel arch, which is holed. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 7TH OCTOBER BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
1987 Rover SD1 2600 Vanden Plas AutoMake: Rover Model: SD1 Vanden PlasYear: 1987Mileage: 59800VIN: SARRRFWM3CM345142Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: D976XFETransmission: automatic In 1980, the Vanden Plas badge reached Rover's SD1 executive model, being applied to 2600 and 3500 models to denote flagships. Among the standard features were electrically-adjustable, heated door mirrors, cruise control, air conditioning and an electric sunroof, plus Dunlop Denovo tyres on alloy wheels, and a choice of velvet or Connolly leather upholstery. This white 2600 automatic with brown velvet interior was registered in April 1987. The vendor advises us that it spent around 20 years off the road - albeit indoors and under cover - before being acquired by a garage that intended to bring it back to the road. However, progress was slow, and the job was eventually taken over the the vendor, who did finish things off. Having done quite a lot of engine work, he reports that the car "runs beautifully". The current recorded mileage is 59,871. The paperwork file includes the current V5C, Rimmer Bros SD1 parts and accessories catalogue, original owner's handbook, a handful of tax discs from the turn of the century and various 2021 bills during the car's recommissioning. These total around £1500 in parts, with another handwritten note by the vendor chronicling a further £700 of expenditure, including £170 for the wheels to be shotblasted and coated, £140 for a rear suspension conversion (the original self-levelling system is in the boot, however), £110 for tyres and £200 for a camshaft and carrier. Overall, this Rover is in tidy order. The vendor carried out a bottom half respray himself, which he admits isn't to professional standards, but looks presentable enough. The only electrical fault he notes is that the driver's door mirror is inoperative. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 12TH OCTOBER BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
1999 Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo LEMake: Fiat Model: Coupe 20v Turbo LEYear: 1999Mileage: 136000VIN: ZFA175000P0060866Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: T802VGBTransmission: manualIn 1998, Fiat released the Limited Edition (LE) turbocharged variant of its Coupe, with several distinctive features to differentiate it from lesser versions. Externally, there was a body kit, Titanium Grey detailing on the wheels, fuel cap, rear light cups and mirror casings, and red-painted Brembo brake calipers. Inside, the sporty Fiat had a push-button start, Recaro seats with red leather inserts, Sparco pedals and a Titanium Grey dash. Mechanically, a six speed gearbox was fitted, as well as a strut brace, and the engine covers were painted red. Exterior colour were black, red, Vinci Grey, Crono Grey and Steel Grey. This is number 132 of 300 UK-supplied LEs, finished in Crono Grey. All the original LE features are with the car, with a set of rear light replacement cups in the boot. 136,105 miles are recorded, which is warranted by the history, and the V5C records six former keepers. The paperwork file includes a documentation folder with owner's handbook and duplicate service book, featuring 12 entries up to 135,704 miles on 14 December 2020. There's a large stack of recent invoices dating back over the last decade or so, showing items such as a new head gasket in September 2010, turbocharger in June 2012 at 112,044 miles, radiator (£306.40) in August 2013, clutch in November 2014 at 120,536 miles, front brake pads in November 2020, reconditioned steering rack (£265) in December 2020 at 135,704 miles, and battery in January 2021. The bills total almost £4000. There are MoT certificates from 2007 (when the mileage was recorded as 95,312 miles), 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017. The present MoT expires in January 2022. The vendor describes the car as 'driving superbly'. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 12TH OCTOBER BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
